Help With TunerStudio 2.6 and MS2Extra Tuning

Recommended Posts

Just upgraded my 10 year old MS2 V3.0 (running ancient firmware) to MS2Extra and made the jump to Tunerstudio. However....my car had been running a dinosaur firmware from 2004 (and running great for all those years) and had to upgrade laptops making my Megatune 2.25 a thing of the past. However....Tunerstudio has bells and whistles that I haven't even dreamed of. Any chance someone might be able to post a tune to help me with some of the new tables that the old systems didn't have....like

- Priming Pulsewidth Table

- Cranking Pulsewidth Table

- ASE Percentage Table

- ASE Taper Table

Needless to say those features weren't around on the system I was used to. There's tons more of new stuff I have to learn, but those are the big items. Old Megatune just used a constant instead of all the temp based tables. If someone could direct me to a uploaded tune somewhere that would be fine too....alot of the stuff I've found has been older tunes before Tunerstudio added additional tables. I've got it running fine but need to fine tune ALOT of stuff now again.

- Magna MPI

- Big16g

- EDIS Ignition

- 75lb injectors

Hey, looking at your set up we are running the same thing. I have a td05h/s16g, not sure if that is the same as big16g? Here is folder of my current project, you should find the .msq files and everything else that you would need.

Let me know if you aren't able to download files.

Thanks buddy.....got it much better since my post, but looking at your priming pulse table I'm still waaaayyyy low. That would explain why I have to turn it over a few times before it fires. Cranked on first hit of the key with the old firmware so I had used a constant 1.6ms priming pulse at all temps trying to make all things identical to the old ecu.
