Looking for a nice AUTOMATIC starquest.  Anyone have one for sale?  Prefer wide body that works fine with stock parts.  It seems hard to find a working virgin automatic.

I saw the 89 fiji blue in Arizona...but it seems it needs a lot of work.  I'm just looking for a basic one that runs.  Thanks for the response though!

If u cant fix them ...this isn't a car for people that cant fix things ...u will spend a lot of money to get it fix when it breaks...these cars are 30 years old and the whole system is out dated ...... unless u are willing to learn how to fix things ......IMO.... Theres lots of good people on SQC that will help U if  u are willing to try..........
Good luck  with your search and welcome to the club..............

The reason why I can't fix them myself is that I'm a vet and disabled now.  Before going to Iraq, I had one that I loved.  After coming back from service, I was reluctant to sell it.  Now...I do miss the car and want one back, but need a automatic to install hand controls for me to drive.  A friend will help me maintain it.  Please don't judge others so quickly, sir.

Thanks for your response.  My apologies to you.  Thank you for letting me know these cars are expensive to fix.  I had one before and enjoyed it very much.  I do hope I can be in one again.

try this http://www.facebook....188088581867004.  not sure why it keeps goofing up, I cant get it to copy/paste.. but as far as I know the car is still on there. its in Pa. near Pittsburgh.
it brings up just facebook... put "conquest" in the search line then, it should come up.

My wife is thinking about selling hers.  It's the one that won 5 categories at the Branson nation meet 2 years ago.  Pictures are on the build page here.  Hers it the red 1988 with the new paint and interior.  We haven't talked about price yet because we know it will not bring close to what we have in it since we restored it.  It does however have a td06h-16g turbo but it's in the original housing rebuilt by Turbo labs of America and new fuel pump.  Well it's got lots of new if interested let me know and I will take the time to post as much as I can remember
1988 Conquests

His:  Durban maroon with 351w
Sophia white MS2 full sequential with BW S257sxe in the middle of a full tear down

Hers: Red restored and on the road, mostly stock

Thank you for your sacrifice.

That Fiji doesn’t look too bad. A day or 2 of work and basic maintenance should have it very road worthy again. I understand if y’all don’t want to take a chance on though. I spent a few months getting one running again a couple years back, that had sat for 11 years. It all depends on how much work your friend is able to help you with. It may be a good option if you don’t find anything else.

However, I will keep an eye out for a car that might meet your specifications.

Good luck with your search.

Hi, Can you send me more information on either of them?  I'm interested in a good running automatic.  Here's my email:  davidhsu408@gmail.com.  How much are you asking?

Thanks,
Dave

the auction ended, but I think it's still available. It's located in St Louis. If you're interested in this I can track down the owner on Facebook.

I Bought it lol. It wouldn't of been a great pick for someone who wants something that is ready to go. Needed lots of  TLC.
