  1. The cut out could very well be a leaking vacuum advance. Really bad smell of fuel? What do the plugs look like?
  2. Said you checked spark, but didn't tell us how you did it. I use an in-line spark tester and it makes life SO much easier. No questions about spark then. Fuel definitely looks good. Seems like it revved fine at one point. Based on that I would mostly rule out mechanical failures and fuel pump. Doesn't even turn over now?? Throw it on a trailer and come on over. We will figure it out 😎
  3. Definitely check for spark. Once you know for sure it's spark or fuel related then we can guide you further. When you first turn on the key do you hear the fuel pump kick on for a couple seconds?
  4. Sounds electrical. Check for spark in the no start condition. Does it start to run rough before shutting off or is it just like someone turned off the key?
  5. Welcome aboard! Looks like a pretty complete car from here. A little work and she will surely shine!
  6. Good deal on those Bridgestone Potenza 245/45r16 https://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?zip-code=37322&width=245/&ratio=45&diameter=16&rearWidth=225/&rearRatio=50&rearDiameter=16&performance=ALL
  7. SHP or not wheels? I believe 205 was factory in the non SHP fronts. Not 100% sure on that though. It's early and I'm still on coffee #1 Personally I will always run a staggered setup. It came that way, so I keep it that way. Not that there is anything wrong with 225 all around.
  8. I debated rolling the car off a cliff instead of re-connecting this the first time Now I run flexible line the whole way. Screw that connection 😊
  9. No need to remove extra parts. I'm not sure it would help anyways. Crow's foot or at least line wrenches are mandatory. Getting the hard line back into the top of the steering box is a serious PITA.
  10. Hey I know that guy! Very Cool Randy! So Elliot just let it sit after the rebuild? Was there an issue? And what's the plan now? 🙂
  11. That is the kicker. I'm sure if someone got creative enough you could come up with a mount/link system to hold it in place and run a driveshaft the whole way. Never been done to my knowledge though.
  12. It is a pretty cool "truck" ... but not $200k cool 😎
  13. Looks great! Welcome back to the addiction. Sounds like it never really left you though 😄
  14. Looks good! I have a couple of these in a bag that someone else 3D printed a couple years back. Time to pull them out and compare 😄
