taeisallin Posted January 30, 2013 Report Share Posted January 30, 2013 does anyone have experience with hks 272, 272 cam? reason why i ask is, i got a set of kelford 264,264's and in order to use these, i need to get new springs and retainers and the head has to come off. (im nearly done with the swap and want to get it going asap) the hks, i believe can just be swaped out and run.i have a friend who wants to trade me an hks 272 set up for my 264. i wanna know if there is going to be a big difference in drivability. i understand that 264's would have more usable hp & tq in the lower range, and 272 is gonna have more power up top. any experienced guidance would be greatly appreciated. thankstae Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Shelby Posted January 31, 2013 Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 where is the cam duration speces taken from zerro lash or .050" lift,, huge diff in over all numbersseat to seat speces may give you a better idea of how they'l work normaly any thing close to or over 290 degrees lift seat to seat starts to get into huge cams that don't like daily or in town driveing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
