  1. 88 Mitsubishi Conquest/ Starion project car. 88 Mitsubishi Conquest/ Starion project car. Car is in pieces and not together. I have 95%-97% of the parts needed to put it together however I am willing to part it out or sell as a whole. I am very sad to part with this car and god knows I have resisted selling for about 8 years now. However it is time for this car to go. I bought the car running and used it daily. I took it apart about 8 years ago and have never gotten it together. I had many changes in my life that prevented it from ever getting finished. I invested about 10000 easy. If you already have nice Conquest and just want a sick street strip race engine and all the suspension to go with it you would need nothing just transfer the parts into yours. I have a lot of performance options. Here is a list: Completely rebuilt 2.6 G54B bored .40 over Block Decked and O-ringed by Pat Musi racing Copper Head gasket Head ported and polished by Pat Musi Racing Jet valve elimination kit installed Ceramic coated Clevite main bearings Ceramic coated pistons both top and sides by Swain Tech Ceramic coated main bearings by Swain Tech Ceramic coated piston rings by Swain Tech Ceramic coated TEP SS camshaft Crank lightened and balanced .10 under by Gemini Bros Racing Pistons and rods matched and balanced Balance shafts eliminated Heavy duty valve springs ARP head studs and Main Studs TEP High Volume Oil Pump Ported throttle body with new stock injectors Full 2.5 inch HKS exhaust with hi flow cat (need down pipe) Torque Master spark plugs (brand new) Suspension Techniques front and rear oversized sway bars Strut tower brace Tokio Strut all around (stiff as hell) Ebach lowering springs front and rear Stainless steel brake lines RPS turbo clutch Bosch 500 hp fuel pump Bosch high output coil Manual boost controller K&N air filter with modified air box 3 Row radiators 3 wire O2 sensor Fully adjustible fuel pressure regulator ( I had this part and cant find it now. However if I Find it while cleaning or getting things together its yours. You can get a FPR from Top End Racing. That’s where I got mine.) 16 G Turbo Perfect condition with less than 8000 miles on it 4 Brand New Cross drilled rotors New Front Calipers New Steering rack and ball joints New tie rod ends New Pitman arm New drive shaft universal joints Fly wheel resurfaced Rear drained and filled with new synthetic gear oil Car completely undercoated Gas tank undercoated and painted ABS eliminated (this is a good thing on this car) And I think that’s it I may have a few other little things I forgot to mention. The car and the engine has been garaged. However the interior is pretty bad. Body is decent with one small low speed dent on the passenger side. But its easily fixable I am sure. The color is white but if you use this body you will probably want to repaint it. the only part I am missing for sure is the driver’s side front brake caliper bracket. But I have 2 new brake calipers, just needs the bracket. You can probably get it in a junk yard. I just can´t let something like this go to waste so if I can´t finish it I am hoping someone can. I would love to see it run. The engine is like no other built. I tried to build it so it could handle anything I could throw at it. I can vouch for the quality it was professionally built by professional racers all the way. However the car has never run only because of lack of funds and bad luck really…..Make me an offer for the whole car or any part…. No matter what you offer me it is embarrassing to admit that it will be only a fraction of what I have invested. I had posted this a few months back as well, however I decided to try and finish the car instead of sell. But I was still unable to finish it. I did get a lot further with it. Before I didn’t have the turbo now I do and it is nice. I also put a lot of the body and suspension together. All that needs to be done really is drop the engine in and bolt up the trans.…However I am moving out of the country and can no longer work on this project..… It is still on that same engine stand. I have been turning it every once in a while dreaming about getting it running and also because I don’t want it to sit like that. I can send pics if you interested. I would like 3000 for everything or you can make offers on the parts. price is negotable. PLEASE DONT LET THIS GO TO WASTE. I HAVE WORKED SO HARD... but life sucks and sometimes dreams die for various reasons. but you can benifit from what I failed to finish... I would like to invest another 1500 for a nice bolt on turbo like a super 16G or a 19C and a good body with a blown motor. The car and the engine has been garaged. However the interior is pretty bad I was going to rip it out to make it a drag car at one time. If you plan on putting the car together you will need a turbo and down pipe as the original one was cracked in several places. The exhaust manifold is stock and it needs to have one of the turbo bolts extracted. It will also need rotors. If you wnated to use the body you will also need to make repairs on the brake lines from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve. I was going to run new ones through out the car. I eliminated the ABS unit on the car and the AC. The body has a dent in the passenger side, it is not from a collision I just leaned on it too hard. I also have a fuel cell for the car too. I was really struggling with getting another Quest and putting the two together. If you have one with a nice turbo, nice interior, and a blown motor, that would be the perfect match for me. Please let me know. If you have a Quest with just a nice interior let me know. If you just have nice interior let me know. Or if you want to add all of the parts above to your Quest, make me an offer. I just can´t let something like this go to waste so if I can´t finish it I am hoping someone can. The only problem with the engine is the oil pan. If you really wanted you could run it as it is. I don’t think it would leak. The problem is the ARP studs interfere with the pan. I sealed it but I was going to drop it and get it modified slightly. I will try and set up pictures pics of the engine… It is still on that same engine stand. I have been turning it every once in a while dreaming about getting it running and also because I don’t want it to sit like that. The engine bay has been painted white. And gas tank and body has been undercoated. Gas tank is a cool red color.
