Going to be replacing the passenger mirror on my 87 starion and I was curious if there are any difference between the starion and conquest mirrors? I know I need to get an 87-89 mirror but are there any differences between the starion and conquest mirrors?

All mirrors 83-89 bolt up. Different years had different features like power and heated mirrors.

No difference in size or shape though? Plug for wiring the same on both?

Between years or between models? This is the one I purchased for my 87 starion. Hope it works. https://rover.ebay.c...tm/182632864043

I believe the heated  mirrors have a different connector than non heated mirrors.

How do you know for certain if your mirrors are heated?

The 87 are heated but are not marked on the mirror.  Different harness too.

Do you guys think that the one I ordered will work in my 1987 or am I hosed on that purchase?

The 88-89 mirrors are a dual plug design.  On the 87 its a single plug.

Got the mirror in the mail today from an 89 conquest. Plugs are the same on my 87 and on the 89 mirror. Plugged in and worked just fine.
