The start of a new build thread for my Stealth...Bought it from a friend of mine' date=' it was a rebound car- but that's another story.

1992 Dodge R/T, FWD, 5 Speed

-Cold A/C

Power Everything

Charcoal Leather.

1 Owner

138K miles

Everything worked

-Needed Basic Maintenance, and had a Power Steering Leak.

List: $4000 OBO, Paid: $2000.

Now originally I wanted to keep it stock and slow, but we all know that only lasts for so long. I started out with basic maintenance. Mods, and cliche changes.

Started by painting the wheels because I thought they were ugly, now I think I should have left em cause it looked better.

I just drove the car for awhile and enjoyed it, after a few weeks I started noticing a strong smell of fuel while cruising... So I started investigating and heres what I found... Tisk Tisk shady over paid mechanics.

So I figured if that is that bad, the rest of it is probably shot too...so I went through one of my part boxes to see what I had which ended up being a new in box DW200 255lph fuel pump, and started ordering everything I didn't have.

New Fuel Hat

20 Ft of Russel AN6 Braided Nylon Line

AN6 Fittings

AN6 Alcohol safe Billet aluminum fuel filter with Stainless replaceable filter.

so I proceeded to completely tare apart the entire fuel system for the car, and started working on the new one.

Still too damn slow...

Working...

10299577_838183229543290_3869697170054894142_n.jpg

Moved Everything home. Picked up some used goodies from some friends...IPS 3" Catback Exhaust with a cheap muffler that was shot and way too loud, as well as some Flex-o-lite slim fans.

10537360_882021838492762_4425983364795315866_n.jpg?oh=bfc1ab762e33ca97047c63a48d2a7535&oe=547FD60C&__gda__=1416010420_3fc866601dae99d4abe4a77b39bf43eb

replacement muffler. Genuine HKS, Titanium/Stainless Steel Muffler, it was pricey, but it has an amazing sound, will not burn up, and since installing it has a nice audible tone, like no other exhaust out there with out any obnoxious drone on the highway or while going up hills at cruising speeds. It's really a awesome muffler.

Now, I had plan to had the turbos on the car a long time ago, but life hit me pretty hard in the spring, and early summer... my ex left me, i sent a angle grinder with a cut off wheel pretty deep into my knee leaving a permanent mark on my kneecap, which required 2 days in the hospital and surgery to fix everything i scrambled up, followed by two weeks off work, which for the first full week i couldn't walk, even with crutches it was extremely painful and slow. Then i decided to switch jobs; tripling my annual income, which was great, but alot of hours are involved as well as traveling for training, as well as an old highschool sweetheart moving in with me along with her Supra, and Crotchrocket, all things that scream for my attention as well, so i just flat have not had the time to do it! shoo.. Things have finally calmed down so I am ready to get started on it once again.

Glad your ok with the accident to the knee, but sometime life just throws curves your

way sometime for the better. You just have to be able to read the signs and look at

the big picture because everything that glitters is not gold. Keep your head up

and push forward with ya plans. Look you already increased your income in

a new job and a new lady in your life.Glad your getting the stealth together,

that also is a very nice mustang any side shots of it?

yes get to work. looking good. like to see a dyno sheet on the new turbo setup.

Haha, I'm Trying...

It won't be anything special. Stock Snails + Downpipe on stock n/a 10:1 compression engine usually only makes 300-350whp depending on boost.... I will be more on the high side of that number range if not exceed it while on e85....

Most people who have really pushed stock turbos end up in the 375whp/500ftlbs range, and have a pretty serious tuner working his magic. Biggest buzz kill to stock turbos is the Turbines are so small that the engine chokes at high rpms, and looses boost. my old VR4... 17 psi, taper off to about 11-12 psi by red line.

Here is a pretty well known stock turbo car.

Austin @ STM's old car.

AEM

Meth + Eth

Full Bolt ons.

Untouched long block.

Yeah. That car was amazing. After making a name for himself in the 3/s world, Austin started going all out with the weight loss, and talked of plans to go 800-1000awhp...

Then quickly decided to part the car out and picked up a DSM....Was very disappointing.
