Had a decently fast scrapyard S-10, blood sweat and random parts http://i.imgur.com/8s5DuLG.jpg and a standard Cavalier that went together. http://i.imgur.com/NeJJXki.jpg

Failed to stay noided at one point in the S-Dime, and some local surprised me: http://i.imgur.com/K4llZlJ.jpg

Got a standard FX4 Ranger for truck work, and gave the Cavvy to family.  As a result I no longer had any drama in my life.  So, I clearly needed to find a broken vehicle.  Therefore, the Unit-04.

Built in Aichi, owned by a Lake Tahoe resident with the license plate NAUGHTY, bought in Reno, run to Area-51 (or the Nellis bombing range border) and back.  Previous owner wanted to build a drift car, but didn't have the time, it was buried under boats (but over a nice looking retro-Thunderbird).  Previous owner had zero record of the owners before him, but regardless it's a proper '86 TSi.  With a lot of black duct tape.  http://i.imgur.com/F3pNA0h.jpg http://i.imgur.com/rmpGHJ3.jpg

The double-previous owner threw a nicely carpet-matched subwoofer box and 750W amp in the trunk, double-DIN JVC head unit instead of the nice cassette player, upgraded the alternator, and probably did other mods I am still discovering.  I may be around, asking questions about how to reverse those.  One example, it came with an oversized RV battery that promptly cracked and bled sulfur - I've ziptied the new proper battery in, should probably locate real battery mounts for it.  And the Grant steering wheel, ugly.  Might get a new wheel from an early Eclipse or Lancer.

tl;dr hello and junk!

Random question.  I know, my sane choice to replace these worn out Sumitomos are a set of General G-Force.  What off-road or extreme winter tires fit this thing?  Either a set of Blizzak-like tires, or BFG All-Terrains, as large as reason allows?

When I want to do smokey burnouts I use my wheels with GoodYear tires.  My other wheelset shod with BFG's don't like to spin.  Those BFG's just grab and go.  I have a Subie for winter driving, so I can't contemplate driving a RWD Starion with snow on the ground.
Welcome aboard!!
