  1. so you consider a typo not knowing ? really ?? as a matter of fact I do know, its a ford built 5.0 something that is more reliable, stronger, better and cheaper to build then the anemic 4 turbo. And Im not the only apparently who shares the same view as Ive seen many motor swaps done in the Starions. Some people are just smarter about what they build then just keep throwing good money after bad into a badly engineered piece of metal. Did someone else get their feelings hurt because I talked boo boo about their poor little cars ?? I give Mitsubishi credit for the body design only. Its a great looking car. Just needs a better powerplant. Doesnt mean I have like the company. But I can appreciate their attempt at a building a cool car. Other then that, some of you knuckleheads just reminded me why I dont visit forums. Was trying to bring attention to a cool forgotten little car made by your precious manufacturer, and I get sarcastic remarks and b/s answers. Trust me, you wont have to see anymore post, I wont be back.
  2. is this what you have to do all day is just nit pik other people post ? Since you seem to not grasp the whole thing, Ill make it easier for you to understand. No, in general I dont like the cars as a whole, but I like the body styling enough where as I dont mind owning one, ie the Starion as long as It has a better drivetrain. As for the Cordia, I like it enough because its different and you dont see them all the time. No, they are not my first choice of cars to buy given the choice as a daily driver or family car even. Is that a little easier for you to process ?
  3. heres a quick shot of the car I took this morning... what makes no sense, did I confuse you with all my information and too much reading ???http://www.motorsportwarehouse.com/space/cordia1.jpg
  4. Not a huge fan of Mitsubishi actually, I tend to buy the more unique harder to find cars Mitsubishis you dont see all the time. Ive had an 88 Starion now for about 5 yrs, not liking the 2.4 problematic motor and electronics, I put in a late model 5.0 in it for a change of pace. It made the car faster, more reliable and fun to take out to the local cruise nite.. Over the weekend I picked up an 84 Cordia Turbo hatch. Its a nice unmolested example of how the car came from the factory with about 180k on the clock. Its a 5 spd, AC car, red with black interior and has the factory Mits aluminum rear window louvers still on it. Only thing missing is the factory front spoiler. It also came with some period 14" Enkie directional wheels on it. Its been here in Az and Ca its whole life, so the car is totally rust free. Original paint and interior are showing some wear and tear but the cars been a nice daily driver for the last 10 yrs for a nicer older lady who just putted around town with it. Some of the plastic factory tubing under the hood has been replaced with some metal tubing, painted black for a stock look which I thought was cool. I love it for the simple fact you just dont see these things anymore. Not many where imported over here and not many are left. Ill post some pics later today.
