hey guys...got a question, i just bought an 85 conquest tsi and i wanted to know what a few things were...first there is a pipe that comes off the back of the turbo and wraps around the back of the valve cover and then up above like its supposed to go into the throttle body tunnel, but there is no place for it...and the previou owner stuck a rubber hose on the end with a paper towel in it as if to block it off and im just confused on what it, where it is supposed to go, and why the owner may have done that...
second...there is a box that comes off the firewall...when i plug it in the car idles like it wants to die...im thinking it is the boost guage control box but im not for sure...i would appreciate any help though thank you
