  1. My turbo back exhaust for sure, made a world of difference to feel full boost the first time.
  2. Hmmm... 17 running. 9 cars (and 2 more not running) 1 atv 1 motorcycle 2 push lawn mowers (2 more not running) 1 riding mower 1 weed eater (3 more not running) 1 5hp briggs waiting for a project go cart. 1 generator I think thats all of them never really thought about it till now though. Forgot about chainsaws... 4 of those running. So up to 21 now.
  3. I drove mine for two winters, it actually did really good for being RWD but with it being a flatty i had narrower all season tires (195's) and i did put some weight in the back... and i did chain it up a few times, yup i had chains for the back tires gotta love Oregon winters at 4800 feet. Caved the metal air dam in once pushing 5 inches of slush, lol.
  4. Flatty- 1983 Manufacture date- (Aug)8/82 Last 5 of Vin- 00388 Last time we did this i think i ended up with the earliest build date sold in the states, that posted in the thread at any rate.
  5. I've never even hear of that before now. Looks really cool though, love the pattern to.
  6. Seeing as it's going to be a daily, I'd go with an E30 as well.
  7. Seems like more people are snapping anymore. Normally i would chalk it up to more media coverage but i don't think even the media can put more effort into covering all the regular bad stuff and people going mental than they already do.
  8. I live in a small town and it's not just a big city thing. Last few years i've walked through the halloween costume sections at major retailers and they seem to be 75% or more 'sexy' costumes so i suppose that could be partially to blame, well that and the fact parents buy them for children which is totally messed up. But look how kids dress everyday anymore to they want to grow up so fast way to fast and most parents are happy to let them it seems. I'm totally with you though i hate seeing kids dressed up like that, what happend to letting kids be Kids it's sad.
  9. There is a guy in my little town that has a 2nd gen with the rear bobbed and a truck bed it's one of the coolest 4x4's i've ever been around... scarey to see it rolling down the road towards you. When i was looking at them the cost of replacing the tires turned me off pretty quick since most of the ones i was looking at had bad weather checked old tires on them and the tires are way spendy. I'de still love to have one some day though.
  10. Thats a good looking hatch for a good price. I picked up a '97 EX coupe for 500.00 a couple months back needs a front fender and a crank kit i was going to flip it but my wife wants to keep it so i'm not arguing LOL i've always wanted one to mess with anyways. Wish mine was a hatch but a coupe will do, Congrats on the new daily.
  11. Looks almost the same as when i hit one in my '83, even the poop splatter down the drivers side is about the same as i recall lol. Glad your ok and hopefully the car is fairly easy to fix.
  12. Looks much better than the peeling paint. I've done my whole car 3 times with rattle cans satin works better for me than flat and if you hit it with some 0000 steel wool and wash it after it will smooth and blend it a little, at least thats what i do.
  13. I like it to, them 14's look good. I wonder how wide they are looks like 8's in the front and maybe 10's in the rear?
  14. Fun stuff, i used to go over to the dunes all the time when i was a kid my Dad and Uncle both had ridiculously modded Banshee's i was never old enough (or big enough) to ride them though. I'll never forget how cool it was over there riding, every time i start a weedeater and smell that two stroke gas smell it takes me back lol.
