  1. i had to drill all 4 holes. none of them ligned up. Jeremy
  2. i just unbolted the shafts with the rockers from my motor thats in the car which has manual adjusters and replaced it with everything off of my stock motor which had hydraullic lifters in the rockers. bad move? Jeremy
  3. Can i send them to someones e-mail and you post them? for some reason i cant. let me know. Jeremy
  4. i did replace the manual rocker setup with the lifther rocker setup a week ago but it still had the prob. before that. ill go out tomorrow and tinker wit it and see what i come up with. Jeremy
  5. sorry not yet. my computer has windows 98 and my camera will not hook up to it. i have to go on my buddys computer to do it. dont worry they are commin though! Jeremy
  6. i know my 1991 jeep wrangler wheels fit on my quest. Jeremy
  7. the vaccume advance doesnt leak but i am not shure if it works properly. when i hold the idle at 2000-2500 rpm i hear a sputter or a skip every couple seconds, and if i floor it at idle it pops alil and takes forever to rev. a couple months ago it wasnt like this and i have not driven it. it has been sittin in the garage. the pvc is fine. what should i use for a catch can? Jeremy
  8. the timing is at 10 degrees and it blows out oil under boost. i will drop the exhaust and see what happens. Jeremy
  9. i have a new cat and a oem pvc. the cat closest to the turbo is hollowed out. Jeremy
  10. she blows oil out the dipstick and revs really slow. i cleaned the oil seperator and hoses and i also put in a new pvc valve. still no change. when it gets hot the exhaust manifold glows also. i have a 1g mas, rebuilt the throttle body, new wires plugs, cap, and vaccume lines. the motor was in my dads 85.5 that i bought off of him and it was rebuilt 10 years ago, then swapped 5 years ago into my quest. not many miles have been put on it. anny suggestions?? ohh my injectors ary fine too. Jeremy
  11. strange3majik where did you get your gauges or did you just change the bulbs behind them to blue? i bought white faced gauges with blue letters off of ebay and they are really dim. anyont know haw to brighten them up? Jeremy
  12. I have a steeda shifter from a fox body stang and i decided to see if i could make it work in the quest. i cut the mounting plate to size and drilled new mounting holes. i had to make a 1/4" shim between the tranny and the shifter because the shifter that goes into the tranny was alil bit to long. i took off the old teflon ball bushing on the stock shifter and pushed it on the new one. thats all i had to do. the new shifter works awesome! the shifts are closer and shorter and much more solid. has anyone ever dont this before? i tried to find a aftermarket shifter but no luck. ill post pics as soon as i can but it might be a couple days. Jeremy
  13. nvm i found that if i move the main harness that goes thru the firewall power goes off so i must have a short there. ill get back to you guys if i have any more problems. thanks neways
  14. it means the power is always on. it acts like the key is always in the on position even when the key is off. when i start the car the car wont shut back off. it is not my key switch i already said that.
  15. everything is still oem except the mas and the radio. the car doesnt try to start it acts as if the ignition switch is on. when its in the off position sometimes the power flickers on and off quickly or it stays on. i unhooked the radio, key switch, and the ignition switch fusible link and its still the same. i also unplugged the computer thats the box under the pass kickpanel right?? i did put in a motor from a 85.5 starion a couple of years ago and it kinda started actin funny like an excessive power draw. so i parked it for 3 years and just got back on it. drove it for a couple of days and now this happened.
