Toying with selling this one too.

2200 miles on block, .010/.010 crank, bearings and rings. 4500 on the rest of a completely rebuilt engine. Balanced w/B.S. removal.

Block decked, bored and tanked by Dad (Randy).

.020 Wiseco's

Dad's Marnal w/ O.S. valves, Schneider springs, clean up ports and combustion chamber.

274 cam.

ARP head and main studs. Custom pickup so I didn't have to use stock bolt.

Prepped rods w/ARP bolts. Floater pins.

Clevite bearings.

New oil pump, timing chain, gears, guides.

New water pump, belts, motor and tranny mounts.

TB rebuilt

Rebuilt brake booster.

New Cap, rotor, spark plugs, 8mm spiral core wires.

ACT HD clutch. New pilot and throw out bearing.

Lightened stock flywheel.

New 105 amp alt from Jolly Roger.

New rear mounted battery after Optima junk top went bad.

Sunpro guage set. Oil, water, volts. (stock works also).

3" Down pipe and 3" full exhaust. Dynomax muffler hidden in stock location. Chrome tip.

Silicone hoses.

Braided S.S. oil feed, oil drain line, oil cooler lines, turbo water coolant lines, clutch line

New U-joints.

Interior black leather is nice. wear on driver bolster and has a 1/4" separation.

Car alarm w/remote lock/unlock.

Window tint.

Drilled and slotted discs all around. new brake pads.

New Fuzion tires all around.

Due for a Mobil 1 oil change, have the stuff just waiting on a day off without a million other things going on.

Cleaned all grounds except two, will get to these when I get the strut replaced.

Bad

Car has rebuilt title. Driver side front corner was crunched by previous owner. Insurance co. totaled it because repair was more than book value. Was completely repaired before I bought car. Can't tell was in accident. Absolutely no frame damage from accident. Front rims are 7". I guess one was dented from accident.

Wheels have spider cracks in clear coat.

Has stock 12A turbo. (Nothing wrong with it just should be bigger).

Aftermarket fiberglass Air dam is cracked.

Front passenger strut is leaking oil and wheel bearings need replaced, will have this fixed soon.

Suspect tires out of balance since I found stick on weights laying in the driveway. Vibration above 70mph.

Body has faded spots in clear (typical for Mitsu) and assorted dings and chips. One small dent in driver door about the size of a quarter from someones door.

Factory radio and wiring are suspect.

Injectors are starting to leak around the seals, will try to get this fixed ASAP

Small wear spot on drivers seat bolster

Title in hand and in my name. Not raced or beat on, and is very dependable, I use it as my back up vehicle in case my Liberty breaks down. Drive 60 miles one way to work a couple times a week. Came from Florida and made the 1000 mile drive without a problem. PO did all the engine work and I have receipts. No overheating issues plus the AC works. If this doesn't sell, I have it scheduled to be painted at my uncle's body shop in July.

Going to Venice Florida first week of June and can bring it with me. Picking up a car down there and will have room on the trailer on the way down.

3500 as is

4000 strut replaced, new wheel bearings, grounds cleaned, tires balanced, four wheel alignment

6000 dings fixed, airdam repaired, and new factory match paint

Saw this car in person. nice ride. bump for ya Brotha.

Next time you need to stay for a brew or two.

I've always wanted Scotty's T80 car, so if this one sells, that is what the funds will go towards.

Still not painted yet so it could still be sold. He got 48 and 52 Ford pickups in for a full respray. My car was put on the back burner since those are big money jobs and mine is at the family discount. Edited by MainstreaM

That was my car and I can vouch for everything he is saying. Don't let the R title scare you there is nothing wrong with this car. The owner before me had an aftermarket radio and he is the one who cut the wiring then reinstalled the stock before selling it to me. The radio worked but did not keep stations and the wheel controls did not work. The harness side wires are all there. I wouldn't mind having it back but no room for a toy. That's why it was sold. Coming back to FL anytime soon? lol

Next planned trip is after Christmas. If asking price is met and paid in full, I'd seriously consider making a special trip sooner.

Just made an offer on a house and 47 acres. Selling this could really help with that.

As you have always known, I am partial to clean, low mileage, and black SQs... This one definitely deserves consideration though. It's just a hair outside my current price range though. I have been toying with the idea of picking up another SQ for a little while now and with PF coming up next week I decided to see what's out there. I figured I would poke around and see what is between here and there prior to the drive down there.

Car is still somewhat available, although, here's the latest. After going over it with a fine tooth comb, thanks to helrazr70's attention to detail or OCD (which ever you want to call it) some more things have been noticed. The story of this car is questionable. The VIN stamped into the firewall, (not the firewall build plate) has been ground off. The other VIN tags seem to have been replaced at some time but I can not support nor deny this until I can tear the car down and match all the hidden VIN numbers in various body panels. Drivers door doesn't quite line up with the roof of the car indicating a possible bow in the body or could be a door that shouldn't have made it past quality control. A trip to the local frame machine is the only way to know for sure. Downpipe gasket is leaking, my fault, used a copper gasket in a pinch last time it went out. The vibration at 65mph seems to be torque tube related or could be the bow in the body. It's starting to get the rear end clunk of a failed diff mount as well. I probably won't sell it as is cause I know how cheap starquesters are and will end up getting lowballed to the point of pissing me off. Not being a d*ck, just been in the game long enough to know.

What's up with your '89?

Painted yet?

Any of issues addressed.... Wheel bearings, leaky injectors, bent wheel?

Could I get some better pictures?

See above

Nope

Nope, injectors are fine, curbed not bent

I'm a very busy person, if you are serious about buying I can.

Is car still available?

Somewhat, see above.
