Hey Everyone,

Thought I'd share a good time with you guys. I took my wife down to Adams Race track to "pick up my license" that I left the week before. Turns out it was Mitsu vs Subie night and so I conned her into riding passenger. She hates speeding, my car, helmets, the rich smell of fuel and rubber, ect. It was a huge accomplishment just to get her in the car. So we hit the track to get tech'd and everything checked out. The cool evening temperature made the car happy. The turbo heat through the firewall kept her happy and I was just digging being in that atmosphere. Racing is new to me and I'm really getting into it. I get on the gas every now and then while on the freeway or through the mountains but I don't care to race on public streets. Too much to lose. For those of you in SoCal that want to get into tracking your car and supporting a great organization check out KROPS.org(keep racing off public streets.) They hold track days every couple months at random race tracks. Willow springs is a must!

Last week was my first race. I shaved a second or two on each lap and left with a best time of 49.4. The worst being a 54sec. This Tuesday, the mitsu/subie night I managed to shave another second off and left with a medal! We spanked on three Subarus: one BRZ, a wrx station wagon and an sti! The little lady's probably 120# dripping wet. I assumed that our times would be slower with her in the passenger seat. I was wrong! The car handled amazingly well:) I've a lot to learn but I'm digging the new hobby!
