Replaced my dash bulbs with LEDS. Half the bulbs were missing so why not. Dash is nice and bright butt suddenly the low fuel level light is always lit. Coincidence or problem with the fuel level gauge?

Float stuck at the bottom.(mechanism rusted or corroded/not reading as it moves) Tristar radiator in New York re builds them. I sent 2 sending units for rebuild a while back they sand blasted them and cleaned along w new parts as needed. There is a post on here w all the info somewhere.

OK, correct me if I'm wrong, but it would appear that the "feed me" light needs to be an incandescent bulb not LED.

I switched out the LED bulb with the old incandescent bulb and wala "feed me" light is out and all I need to do is run the fuel level down to make sure it lights. But, its not on all the time like before.
