  1. I can get a master overhaul kit with steels for $125, 99.95 without steels.

  3. Anyone in Texas have a good used one for an 87 Starion? If so, let me know how much.
  4. because they don't weigh a ton like a V-8, performance parts all over the place, parts don't cost a fortune, parts available at any GM dealship, auto parts stores stock parts for them, easier to swap in than a V-8....and the list goes on. Even a 3.8 makes more sense than some of these other conversions being done. Syclone/typhoon 4.3 would be the ultimate but kinda hard to find. I do have an 86 Astro that would be a great donor, and an extra 4.3 sitting in storage. Also have a 96 S-10 pickup with 180K on it that I bought new. Way more dependable than a turbo 2.6, better fuel economy and it has more torque and HP than my 87 Starion. If I had the time, I would do the swap.
  5. I have a pair of those air dam end pieces. I bought them new, installed them for a trial fit before painting and stopped driving the car for 4 years. I never took them back off to paint them. Then I bought the one piece air dam. I just started working on the car a couple of weeks ago again and will be removing them to put on the new one piece air dam.

  8. Usually when an automatic starts off in second gear, its because the governor is stuck. Most of the time you can take off in drive and manually shift it to low and it will downshift to first. If it does that then you just need to remove the governor assembly and clean it.
  9. What do these MPI manifolds come off of?
  10. Wow....glad I ordered them when they were $175 in the original GP.
