buick regal 3.8 v6 radiator

Just maybe this will help someone keep there starquest cooler and for cheap.

Holds a good bit more coolant than ours and fits really nice, cap location is perfect, hose connections wasn't too bad. 2.6 top hose.

In the pic you can see the elbow I made to keep the bottom hose away from the power steering pump.

Top of the radiator has a hollow rail which can be used to keep it in place and hang fans from it.

Fits between the frame rails very nice.

 

My fan don't kick on as much with this radiator

It is from a 1985 Buick Regal G Body 80's car with a 3.8 v6.

Not exactly sure that they all are the same but Monte Carlo,Regal,Malibu, are all in that G body frame.

 

I don't have any pics of the rad. out of the car but these are of it in place.

 

Let me know if any of you guys have used this one.

These aftermarket relay with your choice of a temp degree sensor kits cost less than $50.

I used the kick on at 185 and used the sensor hole as you can see in the pic.

I'll try to post a pic of the temp gauge......stays low and steady.
