No, the grill and header will not come with the car, they needed replacing and I never got around to it. Yes I have the transmission and other parts required for it to run. The car is gorgeous, I am especially fond of the red leather interior, the Pioneer stereo, and the SHP wheels. I will post pics of the 85 widebody as well and the brand new radiator, still strapped and corded to box. I will not charge more than what I have offered based on the work put in, as it isn't fair, and it would never sell. I am prepared to bundle together the '86 pictured here, along with engine & other parts, the new radiator, and the '85 for a serious buyer. PM me with questions. Thank you and God bless you all!

Actually, yes it is. This is my understanding of blue-printed & balanced: In engine blueprinting, all the specifications are double-checked. Usually this indicates closer-than-factory tolerances, with custom specifications appropriate for a street car or a race car. The goals usually are to: Ensure the engine puts out the rated power (because not all mass-production engines put out the rated power) for its manufacturer's design or Make more power out of a given engine design, by extra careful measurement and assembly Balancing of reciprocating parts and rotating assemblies, to reduce engine vibrations thus achieving more power due to recovery of power "lost" to vibrations Ideally, blueprinting is performed on components removed from the production line before normal balancing and finishing. If finished components are blueprinted, there is the risk that the further removal of material will weaken the component. However, lightening components is generally an advantage in itself provided balance and adequate strength are both maintained, and more precise machining will in general strengthen a part by removing stress points, so in many cases performance tuners are able to work with finished components. For example, an engine manufacturer may list a piston ring end-gap specification of 0.003 to 0.005 inches for general use in a consumer automobile application. For an endurance racing engine which runs hot, a "blueprinted" specification of 0.00045 to 0.00050 may be desired. For a drag-racing engine which runs only in short bursts, a tighter 0.00035 to .00040 inch tolerance may be used instead. Thus "Blueprint" can mean tighter or looser clearances, depending on the goal. Also, you are correct about the crank, rods, pistons...the head has also been done and is street prepared...all of this was done by Top End Performance, you can check them out at topendperformance.com (but as an enthusiast, I am certain that you are already familiar with their company, right?) The reason for the price is that I am getting rid of all of it one big swoop. The car will no longer be worked on, all of this stuff is taking up much needed space. I also have a brand new corded, in box radiator, and an 85 widebody (complete with engine). My family and I no longer have an interest in this project. The thousands put into the rebuild and restoration make no difference. The 85 widebody was going to be a benefit of the purchaser of body & engine...a perk if you will. You would think that someone passionate about these vehicles would jump at the chance to take advantage of a sale. I'm not trying to price gouge someone with the figures you're talking, when I just want it gone. It would make a great father/son project car, or a piece together for an enthusiast.
