FIP forum

We need an FIP specific forum so all the guys running their setup can help each other out with initial setup and tips. My builds is taking me twice as long due to me being a dumb@$$ and lack of info to help me along. Just a short glance at the forums will show you that a large number of people that frequent this site run their setup and the numbers are only increasing.

To be even more helpful you could do multiple ones under the MPI title. Like one for FIP, MS, TEC, SDS, and any of the other popular ones. But I definately think there needs to be one for FIP since its most popular right now.

Your requesting a complete new forum for FIP??

You can get a sticky but not a whole dedicated forum if that is what you are after???

That's why I pushed to have the MPI forum on here, for these kinds of questions.

I think it's a good idea, but like Mike i'm a little hesitant to request a dedicated FIP section.. Instead though, I think a dedicated tuning section could be beneficial..

Because I know jack about tuning with the Megatune software, but a local guy to me knows(desert_starion, MPI, T70 etc..) the in's and out's..

If we can get this rolling, i'll gladly host all pictures required for a "megatune tuning how-to".. :D

Well, kinda. Like how you have a Starquest modifications title you could do a MPI title. Then do subforums like: general questions; FIP install; SDS install and so on. Not just FIP. Thats just what seems quite popular right now.

Maybe Im just getting aggrevated with my build but this would definately help me out. And Im seeing more and more questions resembling the ones I have. Only they all seem to be getting ignored.

I understand why you want FIP forum but to my words I would deny it because FIP is the whole reason to help you. I bet you any money that FIP will die off because they are no help and their setup is horrible. This is the whole reason y i went to MS. I can answer the best I can to figure this out for you. Look they haven't even been for the longest time. I've been getting alot more help from MS forum vs. from FIP have given me. I can't just blame FIP because they have tried and have returned all my calls last year but it got to a point that I didn't want to deal with it anymore. I sold it for cheap and lost alot of money because of FIP system.

Not to argue with you cash, but in FIP's defense I think the system would have been much much more simple had we kept our stock harness and spliced it. But being that we didnt, in my case it made it much harder. But then again, you are very correct about them no longer posting on here in the attempt to aid us.

Back to the topic,

ARRGGGG, BLA BLA BLA, BUSH FOR PRES!!! NO TO ABORTION!!! BRING BACK THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE!!! WE WANT AN MPI FORUM!!! :D

this is something fip should actually offer, as they are offering a ecu and manifold. Most other vendors have a support forum.

I actually was going to say this too, but FIP should have a tech forum exclusive for their products.

Art and I and a few others have a dedicated "tips and tricks" post we use for the Tec II. If you could start a topic and get people to reply to that it may be helpful. A sticky topic seems like it would work. Almost like a FAQ for FIP in the MPI form.

In theory, yeah it would work great but you know how things go here. It would get clogged up with nothing but some schmoes opinion on the product rather than how to make it work.
