  1. No that's why I sold the quest Thats what I figured, It looks like they sell ready bake kits but they look pretty... Barbaric? No suicide doors for me then...
  2. Anyone ever go through the trouble of putting suicide doors ( Or having someone put them on ) an old sedan. I think I'm picking up an old valiant sunday and it seems like a good candidate for this. Just trying to see how much money I'm looking at if I get someone to do it.
  3. Annnddd shes gone and Im out of the game! Thanks for all the help over the years.... I think I just picked up an 88 turbo daytona though so we'll see....
  4. Alright engine pending sale. So now I got a roller, with title of course. Amazing stock rims and tires. Ill post some pics up later and finally go through the pile of parts I have laying around.
  5. I got receipts for everything... that which I dont have I could probably get from DAD since I purchased all parts from him...
  6. it really is I know I can get more parting out or waiting it out but 1 im sort of in dire straights right now and need money bad and 2 call me crazy but id still like to save the body from the junkyard and have her back together.
  7. Im pretty sure he sold the crank pulley rather quickly I might add. Ive been trying to snipe one of them out for a while. If I can find you a pic of one for educational purposes ill send ya one.
  8. that falcon table takes the cake for me.
  9. Yeah ill let you know how it goes when I get the engine in, I remember Kelly doing a guide on this a long time back but I couldnt find it. I just found the exhaust half of the 14b so Im just going to give that to machine shop and tell him to hone out the 12a exhaust side to the same size. Pitboss im doing this so I can still use the 12a downpipes and dont have fabricate anything with the exhaust. Hope that clears things up a little bit.
  10. Bought a crank pulley bolt off of him for uber cheap when everyone wanted to kill me. Good guy. Thanks.
  11. I'm in the process of fitting a 14b turbo to my quest and since I have never done this I had a couple of questions. I am using a 12a hot side and 14b compressor side. What should the clearance be between the turbo fan and the exhaust side of the turbo? I see its pretty darn tight but I sort of need to get this right the first time. Also I assume I am going to be using the 14b single vacuum wastegate as opposed to the 12a 3 vacuum? If not let me know. any other info you could give me on this would be very helpful. Thanks in advance. Nick
  12. Figured someone would have one of these hanging around. Just need to bolt this pulley back up and Im about ready to drop in. Not bad that this is the only thing I lost during a 2 year rebuild hahaha. PM me or email Driftisyahu@yahoo.com Thanks.
