302ci Posted October 8, 2012 Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 Ok so im going to be headed to Ft. Benning, GA for BCT and AIT in the Army in January and want to have my Project done! But i am just curious about transmission options. I was thinking about using the RX-7/B2600 option over everything else. I was also thinking of the T-56 with the adapter housing but i decided against it because im short on funds after building the 4g63 bottom end and a few other things like ECU, DSM wireing harness, and other little things for it. But another thing is the flywheel. The engine i have is a 6 bolt and I think that the flywheels on the starion are 6 bolt but dont remember since ive never done a clutch job to look. I know they are heavy as crap though 37lbs i belive. Or would if be better just to use the D-50 transmission and just modify the cable set-up or use hydrolic setup like in Project Zero G. Also with that set up it says i cant use a AWD flywheel is that true even if i have an AWD starter? Thanks in advance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
