  1. Hey everyone, I am selling my 1987 Starion project. The car was originally silver, now it's sort of flat black. The body is straight with a little work needed on the front end airdam as it's a bit beat up. The interior is black and in decent shape. The previous owner did something funky with the window switch, so that needs to be sorted out. The motor was pulled and disassembled, and it needs reassembly. I had the motor bored and the top decked and the rods were reconditioned as well as the crank. I have new piston and rings, a new head, a new clutch, an aluminum radiator, the car comes with an extra transmission, plus a newer cpu (1988 I think). I am sure there is something I am forgetting that I bought for it. I don't have the time or money to put it back together and would like to sell it. I will take any reasonable offer. Please email me at walawdog2@aol.com with questions or if you want to come see it. I am in Bluefield, WV. Thanks!!
  2. Is this a turbo head or????
  3. Quick question, being a Starion newbie...I would like to know, what is it about this intercooler that has been modded?
  4. $20 + shipping on the cam gear...let me know. Tony
  5. I'm interested in the ARP studs. Do those come with all the original ARP nuts, etc?
  6. Still waiting for that info on the head.
  7. Just figuring things out.
  8. Thanks for all of the replies. Forums like this are awesome and really help. I also have another motor for the car and now I am thinking I should just pull the old one and put in the other one (although it too has a cracked head and needs repair).
  9. Hey guys (and gals), I am a total Starion newbie here. I just picked up a silver on black 87 Starion and the former owner told me it had a cracked head. I just started work on it yesterday and I'd like to know what is the best procedure for pulling the head. I am guessing that if I disconnect the turbo from the exhaust and all of the other plumbing I can pull the head and the turbo off as one unit. It just seems to me that the exhaust manifold bolts are impossible to get to while on the car. Please somebody enlighten me! Thanks for the help.
