Looks to be a pretty decent car.  Wouldn't take a whole lot to really make this a show worthy car.

Current owner has had a year.   Just a flipper.

Whatever it sells for means you could find one like it cheaper if you search wide enough.

The current seller posted this car on one of the SQ Facebook groups last month trying to see if anyone wanted to bite at $11-12k before he put it up on BaT. He doesn't know us very well . He posted it a second time with comments disabled, now I can't find either post anymore, must have deleted them both. I remember seeing this car for sale for $6k last fall when I was looking, and I thought that was too much for it at the time. Despite the shiny detail job, now that I see all the rock chips, door dings and scratches, air dam scraped up and cracked, I think I was right. This car is not in collector condition. My $3k car looks better than this.

Even at the current bid of $9k, he will make a nice profit after whatever the pro detail cost. I like seeing that there are people out there willing to pay for nice SQs, but what does the buyer of this car plan to do with it? It's not in nice enough condition to show, and even if it runs well now, judging by how it looks under the hood, it's going to need a bunch of maintenance to drive regularly without dealing with 34 year old parts randomly failing.
Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Thatís why low mileage SQ donít impress me.  Low mileage doesnít mean reliable.  Itís still operating on over 30yo parts.

Plenty of guys here with over 100K miles and the cars run great and are reliable.  Because the proper attention has been paid.

I see adds frequently for low mileage examples and it always says ďruns greatĒ.

Matt888 in FL bought a 86 w/ low miles off eBay for around $6800 I think and ad said runs great.  It ran like crap a week after removing from the trailer when it arrived at his place. He had to do work to make it reliable and he put a new Eiger Silver paint job on it.  Now he wants to sell for $10k-$12k.  May be worth it to someone.  At least he knows it truly is reliable.
