ColdScrip Posted January 7, 2009 Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 I have seen the KYB GR-2 insert boxes before, and I had just ordered some off of ebay. Auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...T&viewitem= I am pretty sure that the box is suppose to say GR-2 on it and it is a red box. Well I just got both inserts in today and the box is black/grey with the part number 365060 written on it. So i'm not sold that its the same thing. The box says "KYB Gas MacPherson Strut Replacement Cartridge" Is this some older version of their insert that is not as good as a GR-2? I don't see GR-2 anywhere on the box or the insert. All GR2's are silver whether they're in Shock, strut or insert for. Maybe they ran out of silver paint that day BUT..... mine did come with the correct gland nut. I recall some people who got the wrong one or none at all. Just an example of slight difference in packaging and paint and these actually have the sticker. The GR2 stickered ones are rounded and the non stickered ones are more square. Where did you get the Black GR2 fronts and the oddball different rears from?
