  1. accually the hood and fenders are pretty lite but the doors could use a major diet. :oanyone doing anything to make the doors liter? later Tom
  2. there is no drop in antenna that I know of but I put one of those short flexiable rubber ones in its place. you first have to remove the power antenna and save the long tube that goes through the body and spoiler. then that has to be gutted out. I remember thear was quit a bit of moding to get the base of the new antenna to mate with tube and ring to seal. and there was some soldering invaulved to. If i can get a picture of it would help alot it looks great gave it a little rearward rake. later Tom
  3. One idea I've though about was to put a flat side frount clip on a wide body car. I know you would have to find different frount rims but it would look cool. I almost did this when I smashed the rear of my 85 quest and found a smashed 89 quest (frount was totaled) in a local junk yard. later Tom
  4. I think the electric blue is an awesome color, I have a champange one and it looks great to, looks more sophisticated. I usually don't like white but the starquest looks good in it. But I hate red. later Tom
  5. Thanks for the pics Rick. hope to more of this conversion. later TOM
  6. Hey Boosted I've got to see your car!! ;D I hope I can get my Starion together for the union grove get together if it gets going. It sounds like your doing alot of the same things I want to do to my Starion. Can you give me a list of the mods and suppliers your using, I would really appresiate it later TOM
  7. I had mine lightened to 24# at a local speed shop and then I took it to a local machine shop and had it blanchord ground on the clutch surface ( this gets it to within .0001 of flat)Have them take it off of the engine side of the flywheel, take off the bulge at the outer diamiter and smooth it out. Any good machine shop or speed shop can do it. It usually costs around $60 to have it lightened and around $60 to have it blanchord ground. later TOM
  8. This was kind of what I ment when I posted the page top. I guess I worded it wrong oh well later TOM
  9. I'm interested in your conversion. Is it pretty much a exhaust manifold modification or is there alot more to it. I was thinking about doing this a while back but never got to it. I'm going to builb my own downpipe, so is there any difference in this area? I would like to see the pics too later TOM
  10. Spot weld works only if you have no proublems. A weld all the way around is the way to go for no future problems. later TOM
  11. As far as I'm conserned Red Line is the best way to go. ;D ;D If this is what they recomend it is what you should do. They have great products and graet knowalage as how to use them. 8) later TOM
  12. I was going to say that your photo editing needed inprovment but you beat me to it . If you put it in a better place it may have been acceptiable. There is a fine line between crap and awesome but where is it . ??? ??? later TOM
  13. I have never seen or heard of these before but it sounds like the stupided thing I have ever heard of let of alone seen. There is better places to spend money. later TOM
  14. Or just put please look at the previous posts. Most of the posts are worded different but mean the same thing. And maybe have people look at the FAQ section. This is where there is a lot of info. later TOM
