  1. Cool man. Thanks for the heads up. Let me know if anything changes.
  2. I'm not sure if I'm headed to Michigan or Gainsville next Sat...or staying in town. Bubby and I will be there, if I'm in town. I have a few others that are also interested in going.
  3. LMAO! I heard that about you! Sorry man! Had to go there! Ha! Normally that would be great. However, I'll be in Michigan for July & August. I will have to look forward to September...If I get back in time. I'm leaving on the 28th, so give me a yell. We can get together before I leave. C'ya!
  4. No interest...Just as well. We are not going to make it tomorrow. Too much going on and I would really like to sleep. Take care all!
  5. Hello All! Wanted to throw an invite out for C&O on the 10th of June. "But that is the second Sunday of the month", you say??? That is correct. Due to repaving, they have moved the meet to the second Sunday for this month. There is a few of us going. One is an original owner wanting to meet more Starquesters. I refered him to this site, not sure if he joined or not. His schedule looks to keep him out of town for the majority of the summer and I may be out for the remainder of this year. Providing nothing comes up (yous know how Murphy's Law works!) we are planning to hit C&O this month. Hope to see yous there! Take Care & Keep 'em Spooled! Frank
  6. DAMN! I can't believe this! I've been in Michigan for the past four weeks. Guess I'll have to wait for fall! Hate yous didn't have a good turnout, hope it was still fun! Hey Grant! I have some down time. You have my number, give me a call if you want a hand! Take Care & Keep 'em Spooled! Frank
  7. I PITTY THE FOOL! Damn, I forgot to check this on Saturday! C&O was way too early for us, but Manhattan Pizza would have been cool. Next time! Hope all went well.
  8. Any news on a date/place this month or are we doing this in March? Cash is tight right now, so I doubt I will cart. I will attend, however. I ran into (not literally, thank God! ) an original owner of an 85 widebody (must be an early 86? ) a few weeks ago. He is interested in attending our next meet, but is out on business until 25 Feb.
  9. YUP! That beast is mine! Looks pretty good, for being dirty a hell...one good thing about rain. Bubby and I picked it up from the shop an hour before the meet. It was great seeing everyone again! Jonathan, tell Randy "HELLO"! I haven't seen him in ages. Yeah, the Steelers fans...two in particular...where WAY obnoxious! Steelers...Saints...who cares! They are all overpaid *****, anyway! The players, that is.
  10. HELLO ALL! I should still be in town this weekend. The quest is on the road & I haven't seen yous in years! This sounds good! Bubby should enjoy it, also. By the way, Jimmy...he turns 15 Monday, so he may want his car now! LOL And why did I not see a reply from Grant?!?
  11. Cool! I've been having the same dilemma. Let us know what yous find. Good luck!
  12. Here are some part #s for the fuel inj connectors. All are the same connectors, just different manufacturers...in some cases. NAPA-CRB: 2-17427; Borg Warner: 27427; Beck Arnley: 158-0017. These are the replacement connectors, not just the clips. I had matched the clips, however, it was years ago and did not write the number down. My connectors where OE, corroded and brittle, so I replaced them. I'm sure Dad has the clips alone, as 308 commented. I also have some #s for the mixing unit kit...CarQuest: 1529; GP Sorenson: 96-543; Borg Warner: 10887; NAPA Echlin: 2-1736A and Mitsu o-ring set: MD61 4116. I have not looked at these in years, so I do not remember the contents. I do remember having to use the MD61 4116 Mitsu kit plus another Mitsu kit, when we rebuilt our TBs. All good advise...Well, most of it! My 2.6 cents...DON'T LET YOUR CAR SIT! Always more wrong than when you left it! Take Care & Keep 'em Spooled! Frank BTW: Fuze mentioned the vacuum adv, good advise, often overlooked. The Borg Warner part number is V608. Hope all these numbers are still good, it's been years!
  13. I hear you, Shelby! It really never felt right calling this car "her", either. And do we REALLY know whether Snoopy's little yellow buddy was a him or a her??? Hmmmm... Yeah man, a meet sounds good. Just not too soon. I have a few things to do on the quest first. Yes, a serious washing is definitely on the list!
