  1. Now is there any way you could send me a base tune? Or do you need me to set one up and send to you for input? Also I'm not quite sure my vr condioner is working properly.
  2. No I have none of the stock harness. Would it be easier to cut my stock harness up and put back together? I feel like the board I have (v2.2) isn't really good so if I could you stock for spark with help of msd that would be fine. Or maybe edis? I'm not sure eat this point. I know you said before you recommend another distributer. If I get that can I just throw the vr crap away and set my ms up straight to it?

Okay so heres where im at. i got a VR sensor on my pully and a VR conditioner for megasquirt 2 v2.2. so if i run the stock distributor to control spark with msd6al is the vr sensor going to just control Fuel? i guess im stuck because i cant seem to get spark when i have the coil hooked up to battery just to test. Any ideas?

  5. So adding a crank position sensor would be the easiest or could I use a tack adapter for megasquart

  7. ok so im building my motor and multi port manifold and have ahold of mega squirt standalone. now here is my question, If i install mega squirt on my car and don't use the factory harness what about the other random thing in the engine bay, fuse box, lights and what not that runs with the main harness. i want to keep those futurities obviously but want to get rid of the un used. if there is a step by step or something i would love the info.... please and thank you
  8. Well its gotten the best of me and im caving in. Building my Starion motor to push 400hp daily. give or take. As of right now i have my block back from the machine shop bored, honed, hot tanked, decked and crank balanced and polished. New Wiseco's on treated rods. I have a new head on its way and along with it, ARP rod bolt, Gasket set, valve spring, Ajusa head gasket, Timing Set, and some little things from DAD. thanks randy!! I will be doing my best to keep you posted along the way as i want to help others and even have a nice little thing to look back on in a few years to see the progress. I am going to be use Multi port intake from a MX6 with a custom built flange. I have mega squirt to run it and a BIG turbo to love it. I am gonna try and stay with a clean stock look but with the upgrades to keep her strong. and going fast. I read forums more and more and love the wealth of information you all share with all of us. I Will have some questions along the way but im sure with your help ill get it done. Thanks guys and ill be picture crazy to show you all as i go. I work a full time job putting in 55+ a week so its gonna be a little slow so bear with e please.
  9. am also interested in this as I have built my block for 400 hp so trying to figure out a intake to support that cause god know I'm not patient to wait to find a magna. I have a close friend who is a master welder and we're gonna play with a prelude intake. I have fip aka megasquart. So if we have successes well do keep ya posted thanks
  10. Got motor all apart finally and found 3 cracks in head. Blocks at the machine shop now. Lucky for me a found a old friend who owns a machine shop down the street from me. Ordering new head online and everything else from dad. Just thought I'd keep Yall posted and I'll probably be starting a build page soon thanks for the support
