For Sale – 1989 Chrysler Conquest TSI (Starion Esir) SHP Package, Fuji Blue, Black Interior, Wide Body, 137K Miles, Automatic with O/D. Adult owned, never race or modded. I have own this vehicle since 1992. Ran excellent when parked a couple years ago, now starts and runs to help get on a trailer, but needs TLC to get fully back on the road. Before parked had new fuel pump and fuel filter installed, new Tokico struts all around, 1st
gen Eclipse AM/FM/CD installed, tranny rebuilt. It has a salvage title, but here are the details on why - In the late 90’s someone sideswiped me and while the car was still drivable, and damage limited to right rear panel, the insurance company decided to total the car. But I brought the car back through the insurance company’s auction and then had damaged rear fender panel fully repaired and high quality repaint done. I have all of the documentation including before and after pictures so you can see that the damage was indeed minimal. I then drove the car for an additional 7 years as my daily driver. Life then moved on and I got a new car and just drove the Conquest to local car shows and cruise-ins. Even though I tried to start and drive the Conquest every few months, the car sat and now sits for long periods of time. It is now unregistered, sits and collects dust and in turn is starting to deteriorate. As any long term owner knows, these cars really need to be driven regularly and I have come to the realization that I do not have the time to give this collectible the attention it needs. Here is what it needs to get it fully road worthy, needs injection body fuel leak fixed since it is leaking from either fuel injector and/or fuel pressure regulator, needs water pump replaced since the impeller is broken (I have a WP that I will include), needs radiator cleaned or better yet replaced, needs tires replaced and I also recommend replacing belts and hoses. The car comes with an additional full set of lightly used, but older unmounted Yokohama tires, the four original 8 way adjustable struts (3 of which still look to be working), original AM/FM radio (if you want to install it back), parts to convert from electric fans to convention engine cooling fan, head gasket kit (brought just in case but never used), original dealer service manual, not just the repair ones you usually see, but the actual larger official shop service manual. Interior is in excellent condition with just the usual splitting on the driver’s seat bolster. Front spoiler is great with no cracks, no big body dents, a few small dings and scratches here and there, clear coat coming off in some places specifically on the hood, but overall very presentable. Glass and lights good all around. Make me a cash offer and bring trailer and with a little work you can have this back on the road where it belongs. Feel free to ask any questions. Looking at best offer over $1,800, must be a StarQuest enthusiast, and prefer local person with trailer. If Out of State, please arrange for trusted local StarQuest specialist come and inspect.
