Electric Sunroof help

I have a 88 quest i bought that had a sunroof that was not working. The motor would click. I found the the problem but I do not know how to locate a gear for it. I have no idea who made the sunroof or even where to find out. The gear is stripped that drives the cables. I see from looking around its called the sunroof drive gear. I took a couple pictures of it. The cables run below the larger of the 2 gears in the housing. The gear shown seperately is the larger of the 2 gears in the housing turned upside down.

These cars with electric sunroofs are something of a rare breed , only something like 9 of them anyhoo the number is very, very low , best bet is to find the sunroof manufacturer and hit them up for spare parts :)

I've purchased stuff from sunroof doctor myself in the past. Pretty awesome website actually at helping you figure out what you have when you have no clue. Anyway, did you try calling them and explaining the situation. I've always found them to be helpful. They might just have a farmont 1000 laying around that they'd be willing to sell a gear from. Never hurts to call and ask. GL.

And for the record ... I hate sunroofs for reasons like this.
