Just wanted to mention, ive found a very good epoxy that sets well and bonds very well for fixing and forming to repair my front air dam. You can get it to flow and form like a gel coat but flexible and still can sand it to shape. Its a Loc Tite brand auto epoxy part # 1326795.

I'm pretty sure 3m makes a version of this too. You can buy it at Advance. I've always wondered though...how much of our airdams can be done with one tube of this stuff? I feel like it'd be one entire tube just to do both bottom corners.

If y'all are members over at 26liter.us, I have an online body repair manual in the body section, and have a whole chapter dedicated to repairing this stuff. I use the 3M stuff, but Norton also makes an excellent product for it too. The Bondo brand stuff at AutoZone is the same as the 3M stuff, as 3M owns Bondo.

I've found standard epoxies to be hit or miss... mostly miss. The flexible ones like discussed in the first post are the best way to go with an epoxy, but even some of the flexible epoxies will shrink and harden over time, and can allow for cracks to redevelop down the road.
