Found a harness  for 6$ on Amazon

Cool find if the wires coming out are right. I had one in my car when I bought it and the color coding was off and all over the place.. I spliced in an 87+ harness into mine. Oh well.

Ya the plug matches but that's about it, ended up taking out all the wires and reinserting them into the correct slots (thanks to a old post that lists the 85-86 wire colors)

what did you use to pop out the wires from the casing? i would imagine a pic or something of that nature.

Use a small flat head screwdriver. The ones that come in a plastic blue  box (99 cent store)Look inside plastic clip and slip in between clip and little tab that holds it in the plastic clip...
