  1. Yeah. That car was amazing. After making a name for himself in the 3/s world, Austin started going all out with the weight loss, and talked of plans to go 800-1000awhp... Then quickly decided to part the car out and picked up a DSM....Was very disappointing.
  2. Haha, I'm Trying... It won't be anything special. Stock Snails + Downpipe on stock n/a 10:1 compression engine usually only makes 300-350whp depending on boost.... I will be more on the high side of that number range if not exceed it while on e85.... Most people who have really pushed stock turbos end up in the 375whp/500ftlbs range, and have a pretty serious tuner working his magic. Biggest buzz kill to stock turbos is the Turbines are so small that the engine chokes at high rpms, and looses boost. my old VR4... 17 psi, taper off to about 11-12 psi by red line. Here is a pretty well known stock turbo car. Austin @ STM's old car. AEM Meth + Eth Full Bolt ons. Untouched long block. 10.9@127 379awhp/480tq
  3. excellent! Thanks guys. Any idea for Driveshaft Top RPM? Can anyone contribute and information to make ordering easier?
  4. I've seen alot of swapped Starquests, with everything from 350's, 5.0s, LS, 4g63, 1JZ, etc.... My question is what are all of you doing for driveshafts? Are they all custom made 1 off pieces? or for alot of the popular swaps is there driveshafts that people have found bolt in? I need to figure out where to source a drive shaft for my 6g72 Conquest, I really like the idea of having a Carbonfiber Driveshaft in all 3 of my cars...
  5. Thanks, I might somewhere, its considerably nasty in the corners, and at the time was still on the Solid Rear end.
  6. Working... Moved Everything home. Picked up some used goodies from some friends...IPS 3" Catback Exhaust with a cheap muffler that was shot and way too loud, as well as some Flex-o-lite slim fans. replacement muffler. Genuine HKS, Titanium/Stainless Steel Muffler, it was pricey, but it has an amazing sound, will not burn up, and since installing it has a nice audible tone, like no other exhaust out there with out any obnoxious drone on the highway or while going up hills at cruising speeds. It's really a awesome muffler. Now, I had plan to had the turbos on the car a long time ago, but life hit me pretty hard in the spring, and early summer... my ex left me, i sent a angle grinder with a cut off wheel pretty deep into my knee leaving a permanent mark on my kneecap, which required 2 days in the hospital and surgery to fix everything i scrambled up, followed by two weeks off work, which for the first full week i couldn't walk, even with crutches it was extremely painful and slow. Then i decided to switch jobs; tripling my annual income, which was great, but alot of hours are involved as well as traveling for training, as well as an old highschool sweetheart moving in with me along with her Supra, and Crotchrocket, all things that scream for my attention as well, so i just flat have not had the time to do it! shoo.. Things have finally calmed down so I am ready to get started on it once again.
  7. Thanks guys. I love everything I own and I take alot of pride in them. hopefully you will see a build thread or two or three from me soon!
  8. And Here;s one of my other toys, its just my Daily, but Its still fun. It's secretly a FWD N/A, its going AWD very soon. and I have all the parts to convert it too the factory twin setup, just haven't done it yet. 1992 Dodge Stealth, 90/100 condition. Gets driven ALOT 35K miles a year been averaging. I've sunk alot of money into restoring it and just plain maintenance. Runs e85 Mods: HKS 3" Ti Exhaust I made K&N Intake TT Intake manifold huge difference on N/A 3000GT's) I built a full Alcohol safe AN6 fuel system for it. Tank to Rail. 255lph Fuel Pump 1G TT AWD front Knuckle Conversion, 1G TT AWD Brake Conversion. 1G TT AWD 17x8.5 Rims. Ball Bearing Loaded short shifter Solid shifter, Linkage and Trans bushings. Gates Kevlar Racing belt Ninja Performance Solid Tensioner 3SX Performance Billet Alum pulley. For now its just my daily/fun car but will before too long be my big power car, I'd like to see 800-1000awhp out of it.. but That's going to wait till after I go AWD and I get both the Starquests driving.
  9. Hi Guys, My name is Chris, I'm a die-hard Mitsufan and just picked up my first starquest..well first two starquests I should say. I've had multiple DSM's, and 3000GT's/Stealths, as well as tinkered with several other fun Mitsus. They both have been sitting for quite sometime at a friend of mines, one for at least 10 years, and after a long time waiting i finally got him to come off of them. I plan to restore and build both of them. I helped with the wrench time on both long before owning them. One is a full on built drag car-ish Cage, Parachute, fuel Cell, Slicks in the rear with skinnies up front, and basically everything you can think of from buschur racing back in the day including, adapter plate to make a 4G63 to a GM Auto Trans. I'm not sure what I want to do with it yet, but engine wise it will be kept in the Mitsubishi Family. http://turbomirage.com/starion/06_7_04/interior4.jpg The other is a previously swapped LS/T56 TSI. Has original Black hood too. It won't be seeing another LS, but I will be going the n/a 6g72 route. I plan to have a nice n/a buildin the 250whp range, with killer suspension brakes, and a nice wheel/tire combo. kinda my canyon carver build.
