Just for fun I figured I'd throw up some pics from yesterday's car show.  We had a gorgeous day and a great turnout with some really awesome rides.  One of the biggest Wings & Wheels events we've ever held.

LOL.....my ex-coworker and I have been toying with swapping his British Racing Green MGB-GT to a g54b for a few years using his burned out yellow SQ as donor.  I'm sending him that last picture for sure

in the first pic, the starion badge under the right headlight. Is that a factory piece, or aftermarket? I can't recall ever seeing that.

Tech made that himself, it is not a factory piece. There is a writeup somewhere (maybe in his resto thread) where he shows a few steps of how it did it I think.

You guys had perfect weather for the show! Wish I could have made it this year! I have had a lot going on with the family unfortunately, would have been good to see you

FieroGT is correct....I made that. There is a thread somewhere on it, or it might be in my build thread. In short, I cut away part of the grill. I used modeling clay to create a mold. Measured the mold and used those measurements to 3D print an ABS piece I epoxied into the grill. Slapped the badge on.

I tried to keep the car largely stock when I restored it, but I put of few of my own touches on it here and there.

Cool.   I was contemplating on attending this year but didnít realize it was so soon.  I ended up going to a local custom show here in chambersburg on the same day.  Won third place in the 72+ mopar  class.  Although the two that beat me were an almost stock srt4 and a 2010 challenger with chrome wheels and some stupid chrome crap over the engine.  Go figure.

Was still fun though. I did some tweaks to my fuel curve prior and did a couple 3rd gear pulls on the way home. I think I finally have it SAT. Time to raise the boost!
