The Pigeon Forge meet is turning 20 years old this year! This meet started in 1999 and had about 3 attendees. It has grown a lot since then! This meet exploded in 2004 with over 50 cars and 60-100 people in attendance. Since then the attendance has had ebbs and flows but this SQ meet has been rock solid and it happens with or without planning. It draws people from all over the country and you are NOT required to bring a car to attend. This year you can expect anywhere between 15 and 30 cars and probably 30-60 owners and enthusiasts. You will see stock cars, modified cars, and swapped cars. (MPI, 1JZ, 2JZ, LS, SBC, SBF, etc) There will even be folks selling parts so keep an eye out for anything you might need on the facebook pages.

The meet is held at the Vacation Lodge Hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN. Pigeon Forge is a tourist trap complete with a long list of entertainment options and opportunities for bad decisions. There is never a dull moment and there is always something to do whether it's a group meal, group cruise on the Tail of the Dragon/Area 32, or hanging out with the old-timers in the parking garage while marinating in your favorite alcoholic libation.

We would love to see your ride but if bringing your car just isn't in the cards, then we would like to see YOU! (We aren't pervs, I promise. ...ok, maybe some of us, but that's not the point!)

Once again:

You CAN show up without your StarQuest!

This meet is a PEOPLE meet. It's more like a drunken, dysfunctional, family reunion--with those cousins that just aren't quite right. The cars are great and we love to see them but the real value of this gathering is in the brotherhood (and sisterhood for you women and sissies!) and the comradery.(and roasting)

The dates are:

June 29th through July 5th

You don't have to be there the whole time. There will be people coimng and going on different dates, The bulk of the people will be coming in Friday night 6/29 and staying through the weekend. Others will be staying until July 5th. Come one day or stay the week!

The meet will be held at:

Vacation Lodge Hotel
3450 Parkway
Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
844-236-4275

The rates are:

Don't book through a third party service or through their website!!  (You will get the "Deliverance" treatement without lube--pig squealing is optional though)

Call them directly and ask for the StarQuest group rates/. Have this post handy because they likely (conveniently) will not remember the rates they quoted. This late in the game there may not be many rooms left but it's worth checking.

It's worth the extra few $ to get a suite. There is enough room in a double queen suite for two queen air mattresses in the floor and there's a also pull out couch. You could probably sleep 10 people in one of those rooms.
VL nightly rates:
Rooms:
Single King=$80
2 queens=$105

Suites:
Single king w/jacuzzi=$120
Single king w/jacuzzi & balcony=$130
2 queens w/jacuzzi=$125
2 queens w/jacuzzi & balcony=$135

Basically add $5 for 2 beds and $10 for a balcony.

This meet will happen with or without you but it would be more fun with more people! So tell all your local July 4th BBQ friends to "F off" and that you are headed to PF, TN for the 4th and they can tag along ONLY if they bring beer.

See you there. (If you are lucky enough to catch me before the the multiple moonshine tastings effects set in)

Showroom condition black 1989 SHP Conquest 5spd w/44k original miles. Everything is factory except the fluids/filters, tires, battery, and engine belts. It is a true time capsule.

Working on restoring a black 1988 Conquest automatic with 139k miles, tan interior, and in need of TLC. It will be my "driver".

There is a T shirt available for this years meet to celebrate the anniversary. Due to an ownership change at my shop of choice the timing is a little late but I am taking orders and money until June 10th for the first run of shirts that should be done and shipped out before the meet. If there is interest or late orders, I will do a second run after the meet.

$25 per shirt and they can be shipped to you or delivered to PF. Send size info with paypal payment.

If we get 12 people to commit, we can do a second run. So far we have about 6.

Sorry guys but this will be one more year DAG and I will not be there. He is getting married on the 21st so it is a bit busy here at the homestead, to say the least. Hope everyone has fun and safe travels! :excl:
