Hello , there was a lot of time i havent post here ! So what's new to my car : ECU dead ( thats why the car has lot of trouble ), cant find an other one , and i wanted to open the engine to rebuild and surprise ... Two pistons were broken , see the pic attach files ! Ive buy a big intercooler , and now i want to rebuild the engine with DOHC head ( because cant find stock pistons 85.5 and pistons rings ).and more of that , no ECU for the 8v ! I go to an AEM EMS-4 ecu. So yeah im going 16v DOHC head from an 1G eclipse 6bolt , with forged pistons and rods and maybe a 2.3 strocker crank , not sure if i do that or no. I buy the head and all other parts i need to adapt my wide block yet. I have a question , how many torque the stock gearbox can handle ? Ive heard about rx7 / supra gearbox swap. Because if i broke the gearbox when the car is finish thats not cool ! I think im going to 400hp for the moment , or more if the gearbox can handle. Thanks you mates !

( The 4G63 is very funny even in 8V ! ) At the start i wanted to swap the top with the 16s evo 3 , but i think i will stay on the stock engine. Maybe in 2 month , i will paint all the car with the evo X white ( i think ! ) . Ok thanks ZacMan .Now i have buy all the Whiteline bushings possible , but the rest of bushing is not made. So i have urethane liquid , i will try to make them. ( Engine mounts , lsd mounts , and on the rear cross member , dont know the name.) Ah in America too ! Ok For the moment the project don't progress :/

Hello , I search a full bushing kit too , with engine mount , transmission mount etc etc ... Maybe if we are in a Group buy , we have more chance to get them from 101propose or an other.

I hope to make a good project on this car , but its hard for me because there are no parts , not enough seller want to ship to France... Or with huge shipping price . And here Mitsubishi dont know this car !! . For the moment maybe i will buy some parts from a starquestclub member. ( for the front ). Impartient to start this project i just need some important parts ( bushings / and fronts parts ). What do you think about bushing homemade ? Its possible ?

Thanks for the link , i have found for the european electrical diagram too but not for the 4g63 sohc turbo just the atmo ( its the same i think). Yeah i think the center cap wheels is factory. Hello ! Firstly , sorry for my english and i hope its the good section to post. So i am from France. Starion were not sale here so mine is an import , that's why there are only 3 ressenced starion here. I have a 88 widebody with the 4G63. I want to restaure the car cuz i have buy the car with some problems ( dont run well / front is "broken"). And after try to prepare the engine, my goal is 360hp with the less boost possible. Thanks !
