Did you weld up those holes where the idler arm went?  Seems like you could get a little more rigidity by welding to those through-holes.  Nice work!  Have you checked swaybar clearance with the pan?  I slotted my mounts a bit and my sway bar fits, but pretty sure its going to contact the pan during normal driving.  Thinking Im gonna notch the subframe and push everything back another half inch or so.

I welded the two layers together in several places then welded the patch back in. I welded the holes where I drilled out the spot welds.

Small update.. got the new brake booster in, its from a 1980 challanger. uses stock mounting holes, stock master cylinder fits it and its smaller than OEM. huge help here. Also got the hole for the battery cable situated and the hole fro the harness to go through. and the parts for the clutch line came in! Ordered my engine bay paint as well. Shouldnt be too long now.

Only thing that I had to do was adjust the pushrod length. It was about 1/16 too long as was holding the brakes applied. These are getting VERY hard to find however.

Is that booster different than this Cardone rebuilt part 55-5103?

Have you tried different brake masters on it?  Looks like you can fit the more common horizontal flange master cylinders on it.  Where did you get it?  Part numbers?  Could you possibly measure the center to center on the horizontal studs?  If its around 3 1/8", that should take newer masters.

Could you possibly measure the master cylinder studs from side to side?  Just want to know if the newer masters will bolt up.

I made a trip back down to Haltech to pick up some more goodies! this dash will be awesome! I decided to keep the factory fuel gauge and low fuel light, I have had issues in the past with aftermarket fuel gauges, so this way is clean and simple! They also helped me get sorted on getting the proper connectors to get all this wired up!

I decided to wire the relay block for the haltech elite 950 to a connector, so i can situate the harness on the engine, install it, then just feed the harness through the firewall and plug it in, instead of having to feed it all through the firewall from the inside!

Racepak! I started with an idea in my head, drew it out on paper, ordered some LED's and got started, i stil have to get the decals made to finish it up!

What is the part number for the brake booster (1980 challenger)....

This would be good information to have here on the boards...According to you, its a direct swap?

Lookin good man. Your nearing the finish line. It will be a great accomplishing feeling on the first drive. I remember my feeling driving mine for the first time on my buddys repair plate. I was like omg this feels so illegal and i love it.
