i'm 690 miles away, never had a doubt about NOT going because of the distance. others have driven farther to get there, it's well worth the drive unless you wanna stay home and look at your car sit in the driveway...alone, and nobody likes to drink alone.....except George Thorogood https://www.youtube....h?v=4E9ydw_aDMg

We've missed you too bud.  I hope you can make it! I'm pushing to have my car there as well, it's stayed home the last two years due to mechanical issues but I think I've got them sorted out.

Last time i took the car out back in like august, i started to hear a noise from the front of the motor.pretty sure its going to be a chain guide or an accesory on the front of the motor. Could even be a bearing or wristpin. Wont know untill i can get it apart.
And then there is the matter of time and money. My shop isnt complete yet and i dont have heat, so im not sure when its going to get back together.
And i really need it running.

If you've never been to this meet before, you really should make the effort to come. Even if you can't bring your car, it's definitely worth going. If we get enough cars to commit to being there, we are tossing around the idea of putting on a car show this time, and there are a few other goodies being worked on behind the scenes as well.

I'll try my best. Car runs good, so it should make the trip (from central Florida) just fine. Doesn't look so good, restoration is a very slow process, when you factor in repairs.

It will be a solid 14 hour drive for me and I'm still wanting to go. Doesn't deter me in the least!

you can crash at my place in indianapolis and roll down with us. we're undecided what day we're going down but it will be the 29th,30th, or the 1st. we will be staying through the end of the week, likely until the 6th. we're going to stay in a cabin again.
