have had my 87 starion for over a year and a half. just sold my sti and am now starting to get to work on this thing. so far have rebuilt the throttle body and replaced the old worn couplers to eliminate boosts leaks. everything seems fine for now. except for a broken headlight assembly wich is my fault.

fun cars great old school torque

Welcome. I"m in Sun Valley, not terribly far either. Dont' be shy to ask when in doubt. These cars are not complicated, but they got their quirks. As most cars this age, they need attention.

indeed they do have their fare share lol. But mine started with the basics. got from a guy who thought it was a good idea to cut the springs run really ridiculous sized low profile tires, and tried to hide the electrical problems by buying a new battery before he sold it to me.

i have since fixed the battery draining

hardcore sputtering

grounded lights...by that i mean when i pushed my brakes every light in the car comes on.

but yesterday while drifting htm and going into a ditch i popped a tire. with the car ridicoulously low i jacked it up and didnt pay attention in my laughter broke the headlight motor mounting points clean off. so i need a new one for the passenger
