GINASQ
This is my 1979 240d, I've had it for a little over a year. It's my daily driver/project. I know it's not cool by normal standards but its unique and fun to drive. With the mods it still gets me about 28 to 30mpg. And it doesn't take 20 seconds to get up to highway speeds. The VGT is controlled by using both a pressure actuator (controlled by boost) and a vacuum actuator (controlled by "manifold vacuum" which is simulated by a vacuum control valve from an automatic transmission Mercedes.). The previous owner did all the vgt stuff.
