Got is started.. Car was flooded, after i dried the cylinders and replaced the plugs it fired right up.. Drives great now just has a rough idle when the car is warm.. The o2 sensor has not been replaced so i was going to start there.

Car will not start and i am trying to find the issue. I was following what the book said to set the timing but i wanted a second opinion. I have fuel, spark and compression but it is not firing or even stumbling.. plugs were wet when i took them out this morning after trying to start it last night but even so i think it shoulda at least fired a little bit..

Thanks Indiana I got all my parts from Dad on friday so i put the engine back together triple checking all the clearances and replacing the Rings with Hastings Getting a TB Kit and SS Hex head bolts and a few other things and i got her all back together by sunday afternoon Flopped her into the bay by 10pm and called it a night. I also went and bought an Ohvp and 1G Maf from D-Venable Friday too.. Did not want metal shim headgasket. I do not have the money to spend on Studs that are recommended for that gasket Thanks though
