I always liked those. I remember seeing the premier of them at the Philly car show years ago when I used to go down. Sky and Pontiac counterpart ... Solstice .. I think? I knew a guy at work who got one new back then, he's in jail now so I don't think he has it anymore .. lol.

Nice! I work on those quite a bit at work. They are decent cars. If you send me your VIN I can check the GM vehicle report and tell you if any recalls are open for it.

There is a recall for the Passenger Presence Module where we either replace it or add a plastic reinforcement to the seat pad to help reduce wear on it.

If you plan to work on the car yourself the lift points require pucks like Corvettes use. The car itself is really close to a Vette suspension minus the transmission in the rear.

You'll see small slots in the body on the bottom. Those slide up and twist.

Post some pics I'd like to see it. Congrats!

We have had it about 6 weeks now. Unfortunately someone didnt use the pucks and cracked a small place underneath. I have done an oil change and front brake pads.Well i would post pics but it never works.I think prelude helped me out awhile back.

That's due to the small turbo and VVT.

[/quoteOh i know. I am a retired mechanic for 36 years. But with a 14g and 15lb of boost along with other tuning things we do i thought it ran pretty damn good. Until i drove this 2.0t.Granted the quest would be old technology by 07 bit i still had fun 8n all of them especially my 88 banana i bought in 89.Which by far was my favorite.
