  1. has anyone heard from Eric recently?
  2. Hey guys, sorry I've just been super busy with work and other things so I still haven't had a chance to get out there. However Chad has given me some vital information, that the manifolds that will only work are that from the TM and TP Magnas rather than the TR and TS Magnas. Unfortunately 99% of the TM and TP Magnas we got here were carburettored so finding MPI ones would be a difficult task. There is however an abundance of TR and TS Magnas, which I'm just waiting to hear back from Chad to see if these cylinder heads are suitable. I have yet to check if they are the M6, M8 or M9 type heads.
  3. hey autotr8er2 I tried looking for your previous PMs in my inbox but couldn't find them? Am wondering if you perhaps e-mailed me directly somehow. Anyway if you want to PM me what you're after for the rims that would be sweet. Thanks!
  4. anyone else? still looking for a set of non-SHP rims.
  5. Jap spec GSR, GSR-II and GSR-III have manual mirrors while GSR-V and GSR-VR have electric. Unsure about the Euro or Aus spec ones. Am pretty sure they have both manual or electric depending on year. Also I have been very busy so haven't had a chance to go out to the storage facility where the mirrors are and take some close up pics.
  6. Magna. The car the inlet manifold is from is a Magna.
  7. really? I've put up a post before with those above pics when parting out the GSR-V DASH Starion, but it was under my existing username.
  8. hey guys, Got a pair of electric door mirrors from a JDM '87 GSR-V and a pair of manual door mirrors from an 83-84 Euro-spec EX. Both black (unpainted) in color. Will get pics up of them individually soon, but here's some crappy pics of them so far http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/te71se/Starion-parts/IMG_3794.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/te71se/Starion-parts/IMG_3820.jpg US$110 per pair delivered (bare in mind freight will be over half of that value alone). Cheers, Phil
  9. Ok cool I'm heading over that way in a week or so, so would hopefully have something under way by then. Will keep you all posted, cheers!
  10. What are you willing to pay for a head + manifold + fuel rail + injectors? Just bare in mind with getting the parts and freight there's no way I could do that for anything less than US$300-400, so I need to gauge realistic interest to see if it's even worth it before approaching the yard. Cheers!
  11. yeah I figured it was probably cheaper to send a bulk lot there, but then I would have to find someone trustworthy to receive them, split them up and send them individually to each person - that alone could well not be worthwhile as opposed to sending each individually from my end. Cheers, Phil
  12. Ok cool I shall investigate costs of the items and the freight and see where it sits in regards to your budget. I would imagine an inlet manifold at $150 delivered should be do-able, perhaps not the cylinder heads though.
  13. Hey guys, have come across a local junkyard which has a bunch of 4cyl Magnas mostly complete, they're clearing alot of their stock to make way for newer vehicles, so am in the position of picking up these cylinder heads and inlet manifolds for reasonable pricing. Just wondering if there would be a demand for either the cylinder heads or inlet manifolds over there? I imagine yes on the inlet manifolds, but what about the whole cylinder heads complete? I don't know a great deal about 4G54s (I'm a 4G63 man myself) but I gather the Magna M6 head is some kind of improvement? I would also have to find out if the freight costs outbound of New Zealand will make it worthwhile also - I've sent a couple cylinder heads to Australia and the freight cost was reasonable. Let me know. Thanks, Phil
  14. Just a Japanese 'Kei' car, produced from 1994 onwards and had sub 660cc four cylinder engines. More info here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Pajero_Mini
