  1. I ended up using the stock tach. I got a potentiometer for a few dollars at Fry's electronics...and placed it on the signal wire....then just adjusted it to match my rpms on my SDS computer readout.
  2. I like it... http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/2JZ%20Project/20141022_185507_zps38c15967.jpg
  3. I popped mine off tonite to replace the INNER boot cuz the outter was still good.
  4. FYI..the inner Birfield joint can be taken apart...just need to pop it off with some force....a snap ring holds it on...just like the one that is on the end of the splines that go into the pumpkin. This is a toyota one...but is the same design.
  5. Did anyone else ever buy any of these? Mine are still in the box...sigh!!!!
  6. It is up to 89StarQuestNYC atm.
  7. ITEMS ARE SOLD>>>THANKS 3" air filter to stock turbo coupler. 1g bov pipe...shorty air filter. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t18/gr8white1/sales/20150406_211544_zpsdpqrpozf.jpg
  8. So you got them coated? How did they work out? Do YOU have some forsale.? Thanks
  9. M34 Bluetop with dark charcoal lower...it is a starting battery...but I like the extra screw down terminals on them. $156 shipped http://www.streetsideauto.com/p/optima-8006-006/?utm_source=googlepepla&utm_medium=adword&gclid=CKrRuqC99sQCFQUQ7AodGnsA_A
  10. I never took pics of it...but it looks just like the one Importwarrior posted up above. and Intercooled Flatty posted
  11. Hey I got a question about fixing the buttons on the face of the stock unit??....My "light" or night light button will not stay clicked down. Some other buttons don't work either....However I may just have to find a better used unit to start with.
  12. Only the mounting plate/cradles...you have to figure out the chopping and welding of the steering column to mate to the 240 u-joint to pinion...cut the inner tie rods from the 300zx down to size...etc.
  13. A 1980 Dodge Challenger booster will bolt right into place and master will bolt right on as well. 2" smaller diameter. I used one for two years.
  14. FYI....I can't post or start a new thread on anything under FAQ and How to's
  15. Well been on my car two years...Lock nuts have not loosen. Been on Killaphils car...for over a yeart all is fine. Yeah they prob can get loose but shouldn't be overnight. I like it cause I can remove it kinda easily...having two large bolts going through the frame horizontally would be even better than having 6 bolts for easy removal...but what if those two bolts became loose?? 6 bolts coming loose verses 2? IKD.
