Turbo I ordered is definitely going to make it more laggy off the line, but it shouldn't drop off in the upper rpms like the 7675 did.

Suspension is all stock. Which was sketchy at high speeds.

I bet your tire group led to the sketchiness. Joe runs stock suspension on his.

Chasing hp isnt gonna give you your ET. Youve already got a ton of MPH on tap. Hotside is too big man. Better plan on spraying it.

Oh, definitely. Shp 8s in the front and 235 drag radials didn't help at all.

So you have a smaller tire out back than up front? Hahaha! Yeah that will make things exciting

And a 15" rear gives a lot of sidewall walk

Lots of upgrades this winter. Car is currently at the shop getting caged. I'd like to do a mile event next year as well.

Haven't look at this in a while. No real progress. I did get the "rs1600" short block delivered from Real Street a few weeks back. Went with a 7685 Precision also. That's about it. Goals are just to run a solid, consistent 9 in a manually shifted Starion.

It wasn't necessary. However, I'm never home due to work and it was just easier to buy a new block and pay a core charge and keep the old block as well.

So you just trashed the bearings when you ran at the track or did it also get into the crank?

Only took off the lower pan, but from what I saw the crank looked fine.

Here's the new motor.
