    turbo

    looking for a good bolt on turbo nothing to big 14g or super 16 with no shaft lay or oil leaking into ehaust
  2. looking for a good 14g turbo that is fairley new or works great with no shaft play
  3. my car ticks like crazy sometimes it goes away and sometimes it makes you think the engine blew any help or advice would be greatly appreciated everything is stock except head casting and pistons i need help before i get rid of my baby its driving me nuts the car is mint but everyone looks when they hear that awful noise they say what the hell is wrong with your car please help you guys know everything about these cars
  4. when you eliminate vacume lines from emission parts do you un lug the electrical connections also

  7. 87 body mint with my 88 motor. only modds ars a new non jet valve head 8/1 forged pistons and a tep down pipe and muffler same cat fuel pump fuel filter injectors car runs good down low its up top highway is like im forcing it past 100 but my friend roy says his car if he floors it at 120 pulls him further to cruise at 120 my car would be screaming i have nothing left
  8. what happens when u put a 8/1 forged piston verse stock they are 7/1 cast. mostly s far as boost and air to fuel goes is there something else that has to be done if every thing else is stock besides a non jet valve head. mainly i want to get a smooth pull thru each gear not sure when to shift car pull stops at 4200 or so and on highway in 5th gear at 80 car is at 3300 or so so its like i only have 1 thousand good jolt then where did my power go . bottom end is great or ok but im like afraid to down shift . i did not know if i did something wrong with piston choice that would cause this that i might be able to better this problem i love these cars and have been dealing with bs ever since i got the car 3 years ago with a blown motor no i have a great body and the only motor i have is the first one i had done at a local machine shop and i got 8/1 forged pistons. my plan was to run 15 or so pounds of boost to get some more power without going through headgaskets and that whole process dont need crazy power 225 cool with me a safe 225 that is . any help or advise is greatly apreciated
  9. cant figure out why when i burn out even in rain the shifter shakes pretty good and car seems to be bouncing in rear instead of a smooth spinning of tires need help afraid to floor the car and that is why i own my baby to go good and look good doin it do most of the work myself hard to find people that know the car
  10. alpine deck and was wondering do we use the orange wire for illumination there is one on radio and one from factory adapter plug both say illumination dont want to fry dimmer like i have heard of or should i leave it unhooked
  11. do u have to ground them to a bolt no way to use factory plug i bought the adapter plug and there is no ground i though the plug would come with a ground cause the factory radio grounds through the attena
  12. i have an 87 widebody with an 88 ecu and a rebuilt motor with forged pistons i believe they are 8 to 1 compression and a down pipe from tep with 3 wire o2 i think the turbo is a stock 12 a not sure how to know for sure just dont want to blow another head or gasket
  13. can u drain and fill manual tranny without taking tranny out of car or do u only fill it where shifter goes i dont want to rip council apart if i dont have to. Dont want to break anything i have a leak coming from reverse sensor dont know why but when i replace it i want to make sure the tranny is full with good fluid. also any one ever had a leak for this sonsor dont see why it would leak tranny fluid
