Trying to get my pos to fire

I have sent the distributor out to be rebuilt re-wired the knock box with a gm hei still no spark I have two known good coils I have 12 volts on positive side of coil and am just lost please help itís been two seasons now the ignition system has been giving me problems

Well, you should have battery voltage on BOTH terminals of the coil, check that.

A-1 Cardone rebuilt the distributor and I will have to check tomorrow if I have voltage on both sides I know I have it on the positive side and if I donít on the negative any idea?

I'm guessing you will have 12V on both terminals, else the coil would be toast.  So moving on, how do you have the HEI module wired?  Post up a diagram.

Pick up positive to w negative to G black and white to b and blue and white to c

You have to save the picture on a host site such as imageshack.com then you can add it on here. Once hosted, copy the link then hit the little icon above that looks like a picture frame. (The 11th icon from the B for bold type.

I followed the diagram I found online then verified my wires with a ohm meter

So news update weather has been s*** here in ny and with the virus I have been staying away from my shop but I have power only on the positive side nothing on the negative so is it just a bad exam relay???

I just bought a brand new coil and the accel coil I have still tests good. I ordered a ecm relay so I have my fingers crossed that it fires if not I would guess I am going directly to the computer
