Fel pro sleeve won't work,  I have that and the install tool, it does not allow  room for flywheel to  go on over crank.

Being that I talked so much about it, I might as well add some pics of when the Felpro sleeve was installed.   Unfortunately, I misplaced the part number that I had (but it's the one listed in rockauto).  The sleeve didn't come with an install tool.  I ordered the tool separately but it consisted of a block of delrin that enabled you to drive the sleeve flush with the crank flange.  Obviously that isn't sufficient because you need to drive it further to provide clearance for the flywheel.  

I drove this flush with the delrin tool but then had to use a brass punch to carefully (or not so carefully) push it further onto the boss.  You can see from the photos how much I knicked up the sleeve in the process.  I was also concerned about the limited depth of the sleeve and what would happen if for some reason it started to 'walk' on the boss.   This sleeve pushed on a lot easier than the National sleeve, possibly due to the shorter depth but it might be less of an interference fit as well.

no not at all, completely understandable. i know PQs fan base was NOT very big...lol.

but since people still visit his manuals i would like to continue to add as much information as i can.

Please don't even consider the fel pro sleeve,  it won't fit right, again it has a lip that is a stop at end of crank,  the sleeve has to go past the end of the crank so flywheel flange will clear,  the speedy sleeve is the only one that will fit correctly.
