I am selling a 1988 Starion that has an engine with 0 miles. I bought two cars from jonboyb, and one of them is gone already, so here is what you are getting:

A Solid body with little or no rust that I can find, yet unfortunately got hailed on. I didn't receive a black hood with it, so it has the silver hood. The car has been in a garage for the last 4ish years. The engine was built by jonboyb and has many new parts, including a new crank. It has never been cranked as far as I know, but has been in a shop since I have had it. The previous owner had installed a V8 into the car, I have reinstalled a stock engine. You get a complete engine wiring harness with the car.

I have a good bit of parts that go with the car, two transmissions, extra starter, some turbo parts extra 12a and a S16G, extra cluster, extra injectors, etc. Look at the pictures.

I know I am going to take a big loss on this, but I need this car out of my garage, I don't have the time or money to fix it.

I have all four Starion wheels that have fairly new tires on them plus a brand new tire of the same type. The two mismatched wheels are off a 300ZX, lol.

This car does not come with everything needed to get it running unfortunately. You will need a radiator, intercooler and piping, and a driveshaft which I seem to have lost.

I have 2k in all this stuff, I don't expect to get that for a car that doesn't run, so I will start at $1500, mainly because of the engine. I would prefer to sell everything at once to one person and be done with it.

That's depressing Daniel....had hoped to see you in the SQ circle again. Anyways, been many years but I'll try and fill in the gaps.

My shop was building a Lemons car that would transition to a Grassroots car out of Cooper's old silver car (there's a blast from the past). The then current owner could never provide a legitimate title that we could transfer, so after a ton of time and money we had to scrap the project and start over on a chassis. That's where the black car came in, as it had a legitimate title we could transfer, but by that point we had lost a season and lost steam on the entire project. The silver car was TOTALLY stripped and was basically an engine with a steering wheel so I assume it was crushed.

Since both of those racing series had tight budget constraints, we did not beautify the engine, but internally it's new. We couldn't find a usable crank so had to have one cut .010/.010 so it's not really a new crank....just a newly reman crank. The pistons were Toplines (I believe) because they were just re-boxed NOS Mitsu parts at a percentage of the cost. I believe we were running stock rods but shot-peened and balanced of course. No balance shafts and everything dynamically balanced. We rebuilt a head casting we had laying around the shop, I think it had Schneider springs too. Timing set, oil pump, etc. new parts. I can't remember if we used ARP hardware on the bottom or not. And Daniel is correct, 0 miles on it. Project died before we wired and started it.

Like Daniel stated, the entire inside of the race car was filled with spare parts. Also...the race car had Tokico struts so I HOPE they didn't go to the crusher (Daniel????)
