Bills89quest
Dude has a running and driving Red 89 Conquest for sale for $1000! He said he cant put it on here for sale for some reason. He's in Wisconsin. He has pics of it on FB. Someone needs to buy this kids car. Its got nice black leather interior with only a rip on the drivers side seat. Anyways, I figured I would throw it up on here in case someone is in Wisconsin and wants a cheap 89. Im trying to get his phone number and will post it once I do.Its on facebook Chrysler Conquest TSI/Mitsubishi Starion Enthusiasts Group. Bills89quest
The kids name is Bradley...his number is 262 353 5425. Says he drives it ever day. Only has 105k original miles. Only thing wrong is exhaust leak, and has no stereo in it.
Bills89quest
well, it looks like someone has snatched this up now. I knew it wouldn't take long. The car was too nice for it not to. I mean a good running and driving 89, red with black leather that is in good shape...car only has 105k miles for a grand. That's just ridiculous. Why cant I find a deal like this near me....I just don't think this kid knew what he had, either that or theres something he's not telling us about it. mopar jon
If the car was ever driven in the winter, it most likely will have rust issues from the amount of salt Wisconsin uses. Even trying to rinse the car after exposure only dilutes the salt into hidden areas. I was born and raised in that state, and owned a shop, saw many cars that looked great on the outside and rotted on the bottom, unless it was never driven on the salted roads, or well undercoated. Bills89quest
well, I thought that same thing, but I asked him how the underneath was and he said it wasn't rusted, but that's just what he said, I didn't look at the car myself. mopar jon
Every once i a while there is an exception, or it came from another state that was dry or did not use salt, that is also possible.Either way, still a good deal for who ever got it, and if not rusty, even better. dukaine
well cars like these are horrible in the snow so up here in wi there are a lot of cases ppl have them and they are store in the winter. reason 1 horrible in the snow and 2 ppl up here know that rust destroys them anyway so might as well buy some cheap winter beater to bomb around in the winter and not ruin a perfectly good car. Sports cars in general dont really tend to get drivin in the winter in WI they tend to be garaged. It is why the trend up north is that a lot of sport cars have low miles. They are usually only driving during the summer and a lot of times a 2nd vehicle to boot. It only takes a couple winters and a car has serious rust issues up here. both my parts car that is a bit of a rust bucket and my builder both have under 90k original miles on em.
