Thanks for your opinion. Do you know if it's been done? I think they are a great motor, never had any problems with our c4 and its fast as poop. A much cheaper option than the LS1 with great potential.Ya, its slightly heavier, OH WELL lol.

There are several carbed iron block sbc's but no LT's that I can think of off hand. Convette has LS1 if you don't know so he is bias...haha But I feel the same way...takes more work/money then results...but its definately doable if its what you want.

Convette, found an Ls1 long block for $200 hundred bucks that just needs new rings.Picking it up tomorrow!! :D Deal of the century!!! Guy upgaraded to an LS6 and just wants it gone!

I was asked to host these photos a long time ago for a guy on here and I thought he had swapped a lt1 in but when I went back to look at the photos I was surprised. Anyway, check out that trans, does anyone know what it is?

I have been researching a lot cause I still wanted to use a T5, but I believe the T56 is the only one that bolts up, so I'm just gonna have to pony up the bucks, which will take me awhile...but it'll be worth it ;)
